System Requirements

Operation The user shall be able to independently

engage the ACC system The vehicle shall operate at the user

defined speed when no impeding vehicles ahead are detected

The system will slow down the vehicle if an impeding vehicle is detected

Testing

Reverse engineer speed signals via NeoVi and J1850 Vehicle Bus Testing methods: stop watch, Vehicle Spy,

test plans Tested for: Cruise On/Off, Speed Signals,

Cancel/Resume, Coast/Accel Data Recorded in Excel

Used a Filter to narrow experimental search Found HEX value 0x10 to be speed Confirmed afterward by documentation from

JCI
