High Level Goals• What we want to accomplish for Sri Lanka

• Long term goals (3-5 years)– Every school in the country to participate at national

science and engineering competitions.

– Make research based projects an important part of school curriculum.

– Develop an online registration process for competitions.

• Short term goals (1-2 years)– Promote SLSEF and Intel ISEF among schools.

– Strengthen local competitions with workshops.

– Improve scientific review and judging process.

– Win an award at Intel ISEF 2011.

Objectives• Results we expect as proof of success:

– Number of students participating at national science and engineering competitions increased to 5,000 in 5 years.

– Quality of projects increased with strong scientific research methodology.

– Win an award at Intel ISEF 2011.
