- Organizes the latest additions to the library holdings and allows

patrons to quickly search and browse books recently added to the

library catalog.

- The database only contains items that are listed with a DDC call

number, and as a result does not include video, audio, government

documents, LCC call numbers, and some other library holdings.

OBJECTIVES:

•To make it easy to search any record

•It will be much easier to find particular record rather then opening

such huge files and finding a single record from them.

•To minimize the duplication of data. The system will be much

more easy to use and the operator will feel no difficulty.
