ABOUT ANZSCoSThe Australian and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society (ANZSCoS) is the Australasian branch of the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS). The Society’s purpose is to study and provide services in all aspects associated with traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries including prevention, research, medical and surgical management, clinical practice, education, rehabilitation and social integration.

2018 DELEGATE DISCIPLINES

On behalf of the organising committee, I invite you to the 27th Australia New Zealand Spinal Cord Society, Annual Scientific Meeting .Three simple words define the ethos of the conference : Hope, Care, Cure in the context of spinal cord impairment. Together the three deliver superior patient care and advance new discoveries through research in spinal cord impairment. For the last 27 years ANZSCoS has been instrumental in promoting research, knowledge and advocacy for individuals with spinal cord impairment.

We invite all sponsors and exhibitors to participate and make this conference a huge success. There will be up to 400 delegates attending the trans Tasman conference. The delegates will come from all streams of Australia, New Zealand health system. There will be surgeons, rehabilitation physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, clinical psychologists and researchers who are committed to the three simple words hope, care cure for the spinal cord injured.

This provides great opportunity for the exhibitors and sponsors to raise awareness of their product and educate the multidisciplinary teams which in turn will make the lives of spinal cord injured individuals much better.

The programme will offer interesting topics for policy makers and professionals involved in the management of spinal cord injuries. The sub-themes cover professional standards and ethics; education and training; management of complex cases.

CONFERENCE LOCATIONThe ANZSCoS 2020 Conference is being held in Christchurch. Christchurch is New Zealands’ future-focused city with a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all those who visit.

INDUSTRY EXHIBITION

The industry exhibition will be held in Hall 1 Hall 1, next to the Plenary in Hall 2.

The exhibition space will form the central hub of the Conference where all catering will be served. It is also the venue for the Welcome Reception on the Wednesday night. Exhibitors will have access into Hall 1 through the covered loading dock, or directly from the front of house entrances. A dedicated transport management person will be on hand to facilitate the flow of traffic and access in this area ensuring a safe environment is provided.Hall 1 has a ceiling height of 10.1m, 15 kpa floor loading and rigging capacity, providing our exhibitors many options to showcase your company / organisation in the exhibition hall. We can even offer you a booth with a wet pit if you would like to demonstrate showers, toilets and bidets.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Contract1. The term ‘Organiser’ refers to DC Conferences acting as agent for Australia & New Zealand Spinal Cord

Society (ANZSCoS).2. The terms ‘Exhibitor’ and ‘Sponsor’ include any person, firm, company, corporation or association and its

employees and agents identified in Booking Form or other written request for Exhibition Space or Sponsor.3. A “Contract” is formed between the Organiser and Exhibitor and /or Sponsor when the Organiser accepts

the signed application form and/ or receives full payment, whichever comes first.4. The Organiser reserves the right to change the exhibition floor layout if necessary.5. The Organiser may refuse without limitation to permit activity within the exhibition or may require cessation

of particular activities at their discretion.6. The Organiser reserves the right to specify heights of walls and coverings for display areas.7. The Organiser will determine the hours during which the Exhibitor will have access to the exhibition venue

for setting up and dismantling.8. The Organiser will specify conditions relating to the movement of goods and displays, prior, during and

after the exhibition.9. The Organiser will accept no liability for loss or damage of equipment delivered, displayed or used by the

exhibitor at the venue.10. The Organiser and the Organising Committee reserve the right to change any part of the prospectus.

Obligations and Rights of Exhibitors11. The Organisers reserve the right to change the dates and location of the Conference. If this unlikely event

arises the Organiser will inform the Exhibitor or Sponsor immediately. The Exhibitor / Sponsor agrees that the Organisers will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Exhibitor / Sponsor due to this event.

12. The Exhibitor must ensure that all accounts are finalised and paid three working days prior to the Conference start date.

13. The Exhibitor must use allocated space only for the display and promotion of goods and / or services within the scope of the exhibition.

14. The Exhibitor must comply with all directions / requests listed in the Exhibitor Manual.15. The Exhibitor will submit plans and visuals of custom designed exhibits to the Organiser for approval prior

to Wednesday 30 September 2020.16. The Exhibitor acknowledges that the Organiser will not be able to provide assistance in tracking lost deliveries.17. The Exhibitor agrees that the Organiser will not be liable for any goods rejected by the venue or lost or

damaged prior to the delivery date specified or on return.18. It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to ensure that the space hired for their exhibition complies with their

company policy or codes of conduct.

Storage of Goods19. Instructions regarding storage will be outlined in the Exhibitor Manual distributed prior to the exhibition.

Stand Services and Construction20. Official contractors will be appointed by the Organiser to undertake stand construction plus supply

furniture and IT equipment. All non-official contractors wishing to enter the exhibition are required to provide current Certificates of Currency for Insurance, Public Liability and OH&S. Access will be denied without such documentation.

Insurance and Liability21. All Exhibitors must have Public Liability Insurance for the period of the exhibition and must be able to

produce this documentation immediately at the request of the Organiser.22. Exhibitors must insure, indemnify and hold the Organiser harmless in respect of all damages, injuries,

costs, claims, demands, expenses and interest for which the Organiser may become liable, to the extent that such damages are caused by or arise from the negligent, reckless or wrongful act of Exhibitor or its representatives.

23. The Organiser, the venue and the Organising Committee cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to property sustained or occasioned from any cause whatsoever.

Payment and Cancellation24. A contract is entered into on receipt of a signed booking form and / or full payment.25. Cancellation must be advised in writing.26. No exhibitor shall occupy allocation space until all monies owing to the Organiser by the Exhibitor are

paid in full.27. The Exhibitor or Sponsor accepts that:
