Agency’s Working Groups

. A large part of the technical work of the Agency is carried out in Working Groups (AWGs). AWGs brings together experts from NRAs and Agency’s staff. Participation open to Third Countries NRAs as observers(subject to conditions – e.g. implementation of the energy acquis). AWGs:» provide input to the Director for the preparation of opinions,

recommendations and decisions» support the Director and the Agency staff on other tasks» provide information to the Board of Regulators on the issues

relevant to the Director’s proposals. There are currently 3 AWGs:» Electricity » Gas» Market Integrity and Transparency. The REMIT Coordination Group support the cooperation between

the Agency and NRAs for the implementation of REMIT
