ACCUMET 2000+ ACM Panel System Material System Benefits AXIOM panels are fabricated from tension leveled, archi- tectural grade aluminum plate, complete with shop installed stiffening ribs (if required). Panel corners are welded on 3mm panels to provide a seamless finish. On 2mm panel corners are non-welded providing a sharp edge. In aluminum, the 3mm lightweight panels are factory painted, in an controlled environment, after forming, which allows for limitless applications and the ultimate in design flexibility. 2mm prepainted panels are also available as well as other non-ferrous materials such as zinc and stainless steel. AXIOM is a solid metal plate wall system uniquely designed and tested as a pressure equalized rainscreen. The Axiom System meets all of the requirements of the latest edition of the National Building Code for non-combustible construction and is considered a true dry-joint “Rainscreen Principle” system. This system should be considered when codes prevent the use of composite panel. Panel SizingThe AXIOM system is available in any panel width up to a maximum of 1.79m (5’-10.5”). The standard and most cost effective panel modules are 1.22 m (4’-0”) or 1.52 m (5’-0”).Panels are available in lengths up to 3.66m (12’-0”). The most cost effective length to work with is between 1.83m (6’-0”) and 2.44m (8’-0”). The system has a depth of 38mm (1.5”) nominal with horizontal and vertical joints both nominally 13mm (0.5”).
