Aboriginal Leadership Program During term 2, ten female students ranging from years 7-10 attended an Aboriginal Leadership 10 week program. This program was developed by Links to Learning coordinated by Jemma Laverty. The Aboriginal Leadership Program focused on building the girls capacity to be leaders within our community whilst learning more about their Aboriginal Culture. They focused on various aspects of leadership such as: Teamwork, Communication, Traditional Indigenous Games, Art and cooking. Throughout this program they have been given the opportunity to display their leadership skills, give back to the community (North St Marys Children's Centre), challenge themselves (High Ropes) and learn more about their culture (Brewongle).
