Pune is the cultural and educational capital of India, a developing IT hub on bank of Mula-

Mutha River. It is historical place having rich heritage like Shaniwarwada, Agakhan Palace & Parvati. Pune is well connected by flights, state transport and railways. The college campus is 6 Kms away from Pune Railway Station & 15 Kms from Pune Airport.

Akhil Bharatiya Maratha Shikshan Parishad was

established in 1907 with the objective of providing education to the economically, educationally and socially weaker sections of the society in general and rural masses in particular. The Parishad has played a significant role in providing much needed inspiration to many educational institutions in Maharashtra for spreading education among the rural masses. It has meticulously developed flora over a piece of 67 acres with more than two lakhs trees. The Parishad was awarded “Vanashree Puraskar” by Government of Maharashtra in 1996 and “Harit Pune Puraskar” by Pune Municipal Corporation in 2000.

Shri Shahu Mandir Mahavidyalaya is a premier

institution which is truly engaged in imparting education to all without any distinction and in that it stands distinct from the rest. The college established in 1960. The foundation stone of the main building of the college was laid by the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. We educate the poorest of the poor with the motto 'Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya' i.e. for the well being and happiness of the masses. NAAC has awarded 'A' Grade to the college in Third Cycle considering the significant contribution in spreading higher education among the most disadvantaged sections of society and commendable achievement in Sports, Games, N.S.S. & N.C.C.

One of the most prominent and active politician of contemporary Indian

politics, Hon'ble Sharadchandra Pawar, holds key positions both in state and national politics. He served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and held the posts of Minister of Defence and Minister of Agriculture in the Government of India. His political prominence continues to exist for more than fifty years. During his political tenure he focused on the development in the fields of agriculture, industry, co-operative, rural, sports, women empowerment, social welfare, political and etc. Taking note of his socio-political contribution, the Government of India has conferred the on him.

The seminar aims to provide a platform for educators, policy-makers, research scholars & academicians for discussions and to acquaint them about the Contribution of Sharadchandra Pawar in Developing Modern India.

Guidelines for submission of papers

We are expecting the research papers on the main and sub-themes mentioned

above. The Paper will be accepted as per the guidelines. Selected papers will be published in the

UGC Approved Journal having ISSN (Journal details- International journal of multifaceted and

multilingual studies Impact factor 4.205, ISSN 2394-207X). Research Papers will be accepted only

after the payment of registration fees.

1. Research Paper will be accepted in Marathi & English.

2. Abstract should have a maximum of 200 words and the Length of the paper should not be more than

2000 to 2500 words.

3. For English font size 12, Times New Roman, 1 line spacing with 1" four side margins.

4. For Marathi font size 12, Shree Lipi Dev-0708 / 0709, 1 line spacing with 1" four side margin.
