5th  grade  was  when  I  started  playing  the  trumpet.  By  My  Junior  year  in  high  school  I  knew  my  way  around  mul;ple  instruments.

The  intent  was  to  graduate  high  school  and  go  to  college  just  like  my  friends.  I  would  have  Majored  in  music  and  most  likely  became  a  band  teacher.

I  began  to  encounter  issues  between  me  and  my  father.  As  my  personal  life  took  a  turn  so  did  my  intent  to  go  to  college.

College  I  was  an  18  year  old  kid  with  no  college  nor  any  significant  life  skills.  I  had  no  job  and  no  car,  didn’t  even  know  how  to  drive….I  saw  a  way  to  pay  for  college  and  I  took  the  route.

I  worked  so  hard  that  I  put  myself  in  a  posi;on  career  wise  that  most  25  year  olds  don’t  reach  un;l  their  early  to  mid  thir;es.  I  just  wasn’t  having  fun  anymore.

I  began  to  buy  soJware  and  hardware  and  try  my  hand  at  making  beats.  It  became  my  hobby  while  I  was  s;ll  enlist  and  the  more  I  did  it  the  more  I  found  myself  in  a  beKer  mood.

I  had  a  choice  to  make.  Complete  13  more  years  so  that  I  could  re;re  all  while  becoming  gradually  more  and  more  unhappy  or  end  my  career  and  pursue  becoming  a  cer;fied  music  producer.

Courses  at  full  sail  at  targeted  specifically  for  your  degree  program.  I  do  not  study  courses  that  will  not  increase  my  educa;on  in  music  produc;on.

Since  my  studies  at  Full  Sail  not  only  have  my  skills  for  music  produc;on  increased  I  have  also  been  able  to  increase  my  skills  in  audio  engineering  through  their  courses.

I  have  been  climbing  my  ladder  of  success  since  I  started  my  studies.  While  I  have  not  actually  has  one  of  my  produc;ons  placed,  I  have  had  mul;ple  produc;ons  selected  to  be  shopped  around  major  record  label.
