ABOUT AAKRITI

AAKRITI is a Kolkata based architecture & planning consultancy organization formed in January 2004 by four architect-planners which offers comprehensive consultancy service in the field of Architecture, Landscaping, Urban Development, Urban Planning, City planning, Transportation Planning and Project Management Consultancy Services.

The founder members & principal architects of the company are graduate architects from B. E. College, Shibpur with post graduation in City Planning from I. I. T, Kharagpur. They are also registered with the Council of Architecture, Indian Institute of Architects and Institute Of Town Planners, India.

AAKRITI has successfully been offering consultancy service for several Architectural, Urban planning, Infrastructural, Leisure & Entertainment, Landscaping and Area Development projects for last 14 years with specific interests in Healthcare, Academic and other Institutional projects.

AAKRITI is currently involved in several projects in Kolkata and other districts of West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Guwahati (Assam), Agartala(Tripura), Raipur (Chhatishgarh), Bhubaneswar (Odisha) and Ranchi(Jharkhand).

In-house human resource of AAKRITI is comprised of architects, urban planners, site engineers, draftsman & 3D modeling experts. Infrastructure facilities include suitably networked computer terminals, licensed softwares, printers & plotters, scanners etc.

AAKRITI is always supported by an experienced & efficient team of associate consultants from the fields of Project Management, Structural engineering, Electrical services, Sanitary & Plumbing services, HVAC services, Data & Voice networking etc. who work in tandem with the core design team of AAKRITI.

DesignConceptualization, Preliminary schemes based Client’s Brief and other relevant parameters, finalization of scheme after necessary discussions.

Drawing Architectural drawings based on final scheme, Sanction drawings for statutory approval, Structural design & drawing, Electrical load calculations and drawings, Sanitary plumbing calculations and drawings, drawings & calculations of other related services & Utilities. GA Drawings and GFC drawings for execution.

Statutory Approval Compilation of all necessary drawings & documents for submission to various sanctioning authorities (Municipality, Municipal Corporations, Development authorities, Zilla parishads Fire Services, Airport Authority Environment dept etc), marinating liaison and obtaining all necessary NOC & clearance.

Technical specs & Estimate of CostDefining technical specifications and preparing estimate of cost.

BOQ & Tender Document Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Tender document and assisting the client to conduct the tender properly.

Construction Management & Supervision Providing all necessary services for construction management during execution, preparing Implementations schedule, Bar- chart, cash flow analysis and Supervising the construction work at site, checking quality of work on behalf of the client, giving necessary instruction to the contractor.

3D modeling & VisualizationPreparation of computer generated 3D models, animations etc for better understanding of the project.

PARTNERS & PRINCIPAL ARCHITECTS

After graduating from the B. E. College, Shibpur in 2001, they obtained a post-graduation master’s degree in City Planning from I I T, Kharagpur in 2003.

They co-founded Aakriti in 2004, and for last 14 years and so Aakriti successfully serving their clients.
