18 June 2015 Dear Parents, The staff and students have been busy putting the finishing touches to the Art Show for tomorrow evening. We have around 90 people (Adults and children) who have indicated that they are attending plus parents from CSHS and some parishioners. We are looking forward to a great evening. We com- mence at 6pm with the viewing of the Art and then sharing a plate and a chat downstairs (Please re- member that we are a Nut and Shellfish aware school) The Clifton State High School Band will play for half an hour starting from 7pm and art from the Year 11/12 cohort at CSHS will also be displayed. Thereafter, there will be an auction of the special paintings completed by each class and one painting of an Owl which was donated and painted by Mr Tyronne Maher. Parents are encouraged to invite friends and relatives to also attend. Free tea and coffee will be available and patrons are also welcome to bring their own refreshments if they so wish. Adult entry costs $5, which includes a complimentary glass of wine for adults (18+). A Walk In The Mountains Author Unknown A son and his father were walking in the mountains. RADII Surveys This year our school will be participating in a School Improvement Survey man-aged by Research Australia Development and Innovation Institute (RADII). RADII are conducting these surveys in all Catholic schools in the Diocese on behalf of the Catholic Education Office. As well as school staff and students from Years 5-12, all parents are invited to participate in the survey. We hope the parent survey will help us to identify what we are doing well as well as areas for development.

RADII will send all parents a personalized invitation to complete the survey online. If both parents’ email addresses are on file at the school, the invitation will be sent to both parents. However, the survey will close once the first person has completed it.

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. You can complete the survey from anywhere you have access to the internet.

We encourage you to be very honest in your responses to the surveys. All responses go directly to RADII so they are confidential and anonymous.

If you DO NOT wish to have your contact details provided to RADII could you please notify the school by Friday 19 June 2015 via email : Clif-

[email protected]

The surveys will be undertaken during Catholic Education Week 26 July – 02 August

2015.
