We now shift our focus towards the end of term and reflect on the ultimate sacrifice our Saviour made for us, and the miracle of His resurrection, the cornerstone of our faith. How great is our God! Luke 24:6-7 (NIV) “He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again’ . Thank you to everyone (students, parents, staff) who made it out to our goal setting evenings last week. These evenings were intended to provide you and your child/ren with the opportunity to meet teachers, have general start of year discussions and to share and/or set goals together. Any feedback you may have on what you found especially useful during this interview process, or suggestions for improvement, are welcomed. Additionally, in the past two weeks we have held a very successful Wheels Day (thank you Student Council for organising and running this event), been on exciting visits to Capital E shows in Wellington City, and all Year 6 – 8 students participated in a Red Cross ‘People Savers’ first aid course as part of their camp preparation… busy, busy, busy!
