Joanne Cardolaccia joined the Graduate Affairs staff as the Director of Graduate Student Services & Advising in July. She will be responsible for supporting graduate student services, and will oversee graduate student advising protocols. Joanne will expand on and build the graduate student advising system with a focus on best practices. She is available to provide advice and referrals to graduate students on matters related to academic and personal well-being. Her main objective is to support graduate students so that they meet their educational goals and have a highly satisfactory educational experience while doing so. Regis Glee Singers Looking to make connections with other Regis students? Seeking an expressive outlet as a contrast to your academic work? Consider singing with the Regis Glee Singers! The Regis Glee Singers rehearse on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:45 until 6 PM. They perform on campus and off; recent performances have included Disney Springs in Florida and the Redwood Library and Athenaeum in Newport, Rhode Island. This year, they are preparing for a spring break performance tour in New York City, where in addition to singing several concerts, they'll attend two Broadway shows and visit many of New York’s most interesting spots. Students may join the Glee Singers by adding MU 315 to their schedule. Graduate students interested in singing without adding MU 315 should contact the Director, Dr. Heather Josselyn-Cranson. Open Graduate Assistant Positions Graduate Assistants serve in support roles within individual offices on campus while completing their graduate degree. Graduate Assistantships are available to graduate students who are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits within their graduate program, and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Two Graduate Assistant (GA) levels are offered: 7.5 hours/week, 112.5 hours/semester - $2,500/semester tuition reduction 15 hours/week, 225 hours/semester - $5,000/semester tuition reduction Refer to the GA webpage to view available positions and application guidelines.
