OUR PHILOSOPHY

OUR CAPABILITIES

Design Phase partners with companies in producing and marketi ng award winning innovati ve display programs that engage customers to drive sales at the important point of purchase phase. Awarded the Design Of the Year multi ple ti mes from both POPAI and the Path To Purchase Insti tute, Design Phase is at the forefront of positi oning point of purchase as the leading channel in reaching consumers and changing the way we look at the evolving consumer experience at retail. With 25 years of experience in producing some of the most successful and eff ecti ve point of purchase programs for the world’s largest brands, Design Phase applies a dynamic approach in generati ng creati ve design concepts that combine a brand strategy with innovati ve technology, state of the art engineering and quality manufacturing.

DESIGN PHASE LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE POINT-OF-PURCHASE DISPLAY PROGRAM FOR KEURIG GREEN MOUNTAIN’S REVOLUTIONARY KEURIG KOLD™

Keurig Green Mountain, the company that pioneered the single serve hot brewer market, hired Design Phase to produce a point of purchase program for their new product launch of the Keurig Kold brewer appliance.

Hailed as a technological marvel, the Keurig Kold system needed an extensive display program to introduce this new product line and diff erenti ate it from the Keurig Hot brewer product line.

Design Phase developed a contemporary look to refl ect the product’s image and engage customers with innovati ve design features. This included a clear acrylic base at the bott om of the product which highlighted the product and gave it a “cold” feeling to reinforce the cold brewing system. Ramped up signage on both sides of the product – at counter level – displayed product informati on, and a specially designed fl oati ng feature of the beverage pods added to the contemporary look with a 3D eff ect. An LED header and eye-catching product photos further grabbed the consumers’ att enti on.

Design Phase produced an extensive retail program, which included 800 units in multi ple display opti ons including end caps, fl oor units, counter units, and inline. The display was featured in 10 diff erent retail outlets ranging from Grocery Stores, to Big Box retailers and Specialty Stores.

The modular design, customized for easy installati on for wire shelving, face deck, and counter top display, was engineered with inter-changeable parts to fi t various retail requirements and provide a cost effi ciency to the client.

Design Phase’s long-standing relati onships with their clients and retailers is at the core of their success.Understanding and incorporati ng their clients’ overall marketi ng objecti ves into each design, Design Phase understands the many factors that are included in the consumer decision process at retail. From the look and feel of a display, which reinforces the brand’s image by the choice of colors, material, lighti ng and contour, each design is specifi cally customized to produce a fi nished product refl ecti ng the brand’s personality.Their designs are created with the consumer in mind and a keen understanding of att racti ng att enti on in the dynamic retail environment. By creati ng a visually appealing display and incorporati ng an interacti ve component, Design Phase understands how to engage consumers.Taking the concept into the engineering phase, Design Phase uti lizes state of the art technology including LED lighti ng, RFID applicati ons and the latest in electronic componentry to produce displays that are at the forefront of today’s evolving retail experience.By eff ecti vely using the latest in material from exclusive woods, selected metals, abrasion resistant acrylic, to clear polycarbonate, their emphasis on producing displays with an eye-catching and seamless look is an integral part of the successful manufacturing process.Design Phase works closely with retailers to ensure that the program is eff ecti vely executed at the store level. Having established long-standing relati onships with all major retailers, they understand the requirements necessary to implement an eff ecti ve retail strategy by designing to certain specifi cati ons and creati ng a display that is easy to assemble and maintain.Managing this process from concept to delivery is at the heart of Design Phase’s ability to provide their clients with some of the most successful displays in the industry.

Q Today’s customer shops through many different channels. How do you elevate the in-store experience to influ-ence shopping behavior?

A By giving the customer a reason to go to the retail store. Shoppers cannot truly experience the product at home in front of a computer or tablet. An effective solution provides the consumer with that tactile experience, the ability to touch, feel and interact with the product. Shoppers want to try on that $300 pair of headphones to comprehend the comfort and sound that will elicit an emotion or response to ultimately influence purchase. Successful solutions create that experience that can only happen at the store level.

Q As a leader in the industry tell us about your business philosophy.

A From day one our business philosophy has been building and establishing client relationships. For us, it’s not just being a supplier or vendor, it’s about being a true partner with our clients throughout the cycle of their program and beyond. Our success is built on a single mantra, and that is the success of our clients. We have client relationships that range from 5, 10 and 25 years. This is essential to who we are.

Q What differentiates your companyfrom other competitors in the industry?

A In our industry, every product, brand and retailer is unique and in turn every solution deserves to be unique to that particular product, brand and retailer. We have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge display and kiosk programs that are distinctive and specific to our customer’s marketing objectives. Working with multiple materials and technologies, we deliver targeted solutions that meet our client’s objectives and support cost efficiencies from design through delivery.

OUR CAPABILITIES

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

IMS clients are category-leaders in the QSR, CPG, banking, adult beverage, and retail sectors. Our role is to deliver cost savings, innovation, and process efficiency in the development and delivery of merchandising materials to retailers, distributors, and field sales teams. We consistently deliver cost savings of 10-20% in the first year and 3-5%+ on an ongoing basis. We do this by attacking costs within each supply chain bucket and by looking across the supply chain to increase process efficiency and leverage fulfillment (e.g. consolidations) and transportation management (inbound and outbound) to lower costs while maintaining, and often improving, quality. We also work collaboratively across clients day-in and day-out to identify and develop proprietary technology solutions that are

easy to use, highly-customizable, and that solve real business challenges. Our integrated solutions and full transparency into all transactions allows for more informed, data-driven decision making. With a client roster of large, diverse clientele, it is our job to continuously identify how we can push process and technology solutions that increase brand awareness, improve supply chain efficiency, and support client financial objectives. Because we work with a variety of clients, we have a very good understanding of how to make merchandising efficient and effective from both a brand and retailer perspective. A merchandising program is only as good as its ROI to all financial stakeholders.

EXAMPLES OF COST SAVINGS MEASURESIMS Logistics Operations drives consolidated distributions for QSR, CPG, banking, adult beverage, and retail sectors. We consolidate on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly/trimester basis driven by the specific client business dynamics. For many clients, consolidation of shipments has driven immediate seven-figure freight savings vs. the prior year (and continued cost avoidance in ongoing years).

IMS Transportation Management services drives incremental freight savings through multi-stop truckload shipments and other freight optimization strategies.

Additionally, we are able to leverage our buying clout for print/displays/racks as well as premiums via spend consolidation. As an outsourced provider, IMS print spend is significant in the marketplace given the clients we service, and our position as a leading ASI distributor to achieve special end column pricing from the ASI supplier network.

IMS advantages are tangible and measurable:• Fully integrated technology solutions from design integration to strategic

sourcing, production, order management, and fulfillment/logistics.• Ability to reduce the total cost of ownership of merchandising

materials across the supply chain.• Ability to share best practices across industries and

category-leading clients.• Transparency into supply chain activity and spend for real-time

decision making.• Category-specific sourcing strategies that optimize supply markets.• High levels of engagement across senior client stakeholders.• Ability to partner with top Omnicom thought leaders.• End-to-end accountability.

ONE VISION

ONE TEAM

Our mission is simple. Create retail spaces that att ract, engage, and convert.

INNOMARK was founded based on a vision - ONE convenient soluti on for all visual merchandising needs. We are the industry’s only fully integrated manufacturer. Owning the enti re process from concept to delivery allows us to ti ghtly manage project ti melines, budgets, and quality.

The end result is real value.

ONE RESULT INNOMARK serves a diverse client group. They market a variety of products and services, but share one common objecti ve – moving shoppers to purchase.

The majority of shoppers, including 72% of Food & Beverage shoppers, 77% of Household shoppers, and 83% of Health & Beauty shoppers, do not prepare detailed lists before entering the store. This means that there is a valuable opportunity to infl uence decisions at the point-of-purchase.

This is where INNOMARK comes in. We explore consumer insights, draw conclusions, and formulate concepts based on your objecti ves. Our POP displays, signage, and packaging programs can integrate with other major marketi ng and media investments to maximize results and ROI.

Seeing is believing. Experience our latest and greatest work at GlobalShop 2016 (Booth #4753).

CREATE A COMPELLING, EXCITING SHOPPING EXPERIENCE THAT BUILDS BRANDS AND DRIVES SALES.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Niven cultivates a Culture of Innovation, Empowerment and Trust. It allows for execution at high performance levels in a fast paced industry. Our core ideology is an unwavering commitment to supporting our client’s success – from concept through implementation at the store level.

OUR PASSIONIn the rush of everyday of business, we achieve 99.84% Inventory Control accuracies, we think through seemingly impossible logistical challenges, and we find ways to design a creative plan that will meet “very tight” deadlines. We even had an Alaskan dog sled be part of the solution to a tough delivery challenge! In celebrating 37 years of success in In-Store merchandising, our passion still remains in finding new and exciting ways for our client partners to flourish.

Simply, we care more. We know that we are only as good as how well our uniquely talented people communicate and coordinate toward a desired goal. We inspire an atmosphere that creates innovation and flawless in-store execution, and we pride ourselves by doing this consistently and successfully with our client relationships. We also know that success comes from having an intelligent game plan. “How it starts is how it goes” is a repeated (oft repeated!) quote at Niven, but it underscores the importance of a smart plan before we charge ahead on a major program.

OUR CAPABILITIES

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Retail packaging, point-of-purchase displays and point-of-sale materials represent the core of TimBar’s offering. Our network of fulfillment and contract packaging facilities support our turn-key solutions for CPG’s and retailers. Additional resources offered include structural and graphic design, shopper research and project management.

TimBar’s retail packaging offering includes an array of options to fit nearly every application and budget including litho-laminated micro-flute and flexo-direct print packaging as well as specialty folding cartons and rigid boxes. Our goal is to be your one stop shop for personalized packaging solutions.

Our custom designed displays and point of sale components are focused on converting shoppers into buyers. TimBar aligns the right solutions to assist in optimizing your target shopper’s experience. We also work with our clients to help them create the next evolution of success on the path to purchase utilizing the latest research and technology to ensure their merchandising programs remain relevant to their customers.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENTAt TimBar Packaging & Display we take a strategic view of our client’s retail packaging and merchandising program. We work closely with our clients in order to identify and solve problems that are negatively impacting their business. At TimBar Packaging & Display we don’t just show up. We get involved so that our clients get the best solution period. Not the one that best fits our capabilities.

At TimBar, we help customers understand that the consumer-first approach is the way to begin any in-store merchandising project. The ultimate moment of truth is when a consumer picks up your product and places it in a basket or cart for purchase. We focus on that moment with critical emphasis on:

• Who is the customer? • What is the purpose of his/her shopping experience?• Why does she/he need this product? • How do we get attention among all the surrounding retail noise?• What’s driving this purchase? Impulse? Need? Other?

If we begin with the purpose, goal and target consumer, everything else gets a whole lot easier and falls into place.

At TimBar Packaging & Display we are committed to delivering brands to retail better than anyone else by being engaged, trusted partners who deliver smart, insightful and strategic solutions.

Such success requires a real dedication to environmental sustainability as a means to doing good business.

UNIVERSAL’S APPROACH CASE STUDY: TASTE SOMETHING FUN PROFIT ENDCAP

Taste Something Fun Profit Endcap was designed, engineered, and manufactured for Frito-Lay as a destination endcap to generate incremental sales separate from their other displays in-store. Universal designed this display to be a speed bump or a disruptor in the regular shopping pattern. The endcap seizes customers’ attention, stopping them in their tracks to make the sale. The destination opens to the left or to the right, allowing for greater positioning options in-store and more engagement with the shopper.

Towering at 93 inches tall and 48 inches wide, it is angled, allowing the shopper to see all three sides at once. The header, adorned with the slogan “Taste Something Fun”, rests on a yellow edge lit acrylic which beckons consumers to the destination to view the product offerings. The protruding, rounded countertop can be used as a sampling area, placement for additional product, or a location for a digital tablet featuring Frito-Lay related news. The Taste Something Fun Profit Endcap was placed in grocers across the US and has been a win-win for both the brand and the shopper.

IDENTIFY PAIN POINTS – The starting point is identifying the “nuggets” of opportunity for improvement in our customers’ merchandising strategies and market execution.

DEFINE SUCCESS – We ask each customer what success looks like for them and help to establish their merchandising strategy, plan and objectives.

RESEARCH KEENLY – We get out in the market to see what is actually happening. We study the retail landscape and identify opportunities for our customers.

DESIGN BOLDLY – Our in-house designers create original concepts or refine existing ideas. We are not afraid to push “outside the box” to deliver creative solutions that exceed expectations.

DEVELOP EFFICIENTLY – We design with the end in mind from the beginning, considering materials, process, and implementation to ensure success at retail.

EXECUTE FLAWLESSLY – Strategically located facilities provide global production, warehousing, and distribution options for successful in-store execution.
