Parker Southern produces premium upholstery, offering a range of sofas, settees, chaises, motion, beds, chairs, and ottomans.

PLEASE NOTE that our furniture is hand-assembled piece by piece, by skilled craftsmen. Dimensions on actual finished pieces may vary

as much as 2" from the published average dimensions for any style.

Frames & Finish

Our frames are constructed of hardwoods. We offer 30+ different finishes at no additional cost to you. Although we employ identical

preparation and finishing processes, it is impossible to guarantee matching finishes.

Pocketed Coil Technology for our 5088-SF Sofa

This is a seating system that provides exceptional comfort and unmatched performance with individually encased barrel-shaped coils

compressed inside the pocket for a noiseless base.

Sales Aids

All swatches, catalogs, woodchips and other sales aid items provided on a no-charge basis or at a charge remain the property of

Parker Southern.

Shipping

All prices FOB Maiden, North Carolina 28650. Furniture may be drop shipped, but we require cartons. Small ottomans, pillows

and cut yardages may be shipped UPS.

In order to expedite the acknowledgement and production of your furniture, we advise that you make notations on your order regarding

Unless you give us specific instructions, the ‘lay out’ of the fabric will be at our discretion.

Dimensions

Approximate dimensions are listed on individual photos in our catalog and on our website. Our frames and furniture are custom-

made by craftsmen, not an assembly line; therefore, dimensions may vary as much as 2" from printed size.

Dimensions are measured as follows:

L or W (Length or Width) is the widest part of the piece, usually at the outside edge of the arms.

D (Depth) is the front of the piece at the deepest part including the pitch of the back.

H (Height) is the highest part of the back, usually at the top of the back or back cushion.

SH (Seat Height) is from the floor to the top of the crown of the cushion.

SD (Seat Depth) is from the front of the seat cushion to the bottom of the back cushion or inback if the piece is a tight back. Please note

that once the piece is sat in, the back cushion will compress and gain from 2”-4” more depending on the weight of the person.

AH (Arm Height) is from the floor to the top of the arm. If Front Arm Height is listed, it will be from the floor to the front of the arm.

ISW (Inside Seating Width) is from the inside arm to inside arm – full width of the seating area.

which, in our estimation, our sewing equipment is not capable of handling with 100% assurance. In such cases,

FABRIC COLLAGEWhen applying two fabrics to the body of any frame, price will be at the higher grade. When applying more than two fabrics to the body of any frame, price

will be at the highest grade + $75 for each additional fabric. If pillow grade is < or = body grade, there is no charge. If pillow grade is > body grade, then

there is a charge of $36 per pillow. (Example: Using Grades 6, 8, 10 = price at Grade 10 + $75) Options such as fringes, ropes, nails, etc. will be priced at

the optional charge and are not part of the above calculations.

FABRIC CLEANABILITY RATINGS

S RECOMMENDED CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Clean this fabric with pure solvents (petroleum distillate based products may be used). Professional

dry cleaning is recommended.

Caution: Use of water-based or detergent-based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinkage.

Water stains may become permanent and unable to be removed with solvent cleaning agents. To

prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

SW/WS RECOMMENDED CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Clean this fabric with water-based cleaning agents, foam, or pure solvents (petroleum distillate may

be used.) Professional dry cleaning is recommended. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming

or light brushing to remove dust & grime is suggested.

W RECOMMENDED CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Clean this fabric with water-based cleaning agents or water-based foam to remove overall soil.

Many household cleaning agents are harmful to the color and life of a fabric. Professional dry

cleaning is recommended. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove

dust and grime is suggested.

X RECOMMENDED CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Clean this fabric only by vacuuming or light brushing to prevent accumulation of dust and grime.

Water-based foam or solvent-based cleaning agents of any kind may cause excessive shrinking

or fading. This code should also apply to "brushed" cottons, regardless of codes previously given.

The above cleaning instructions have been suggested by the various fabric manufacturers. We

suggest that the consumer test an inconspicuous area to insure color fastness; however, we

strongly recommend that the area be cleaned by a professional cleaning service. We cannot

accept any responsibility for the method of cleanability of our fabrics. The above guidelines are

intended to assist in the clean up of small spills and stains. In order to reduce the appearance of

overall soiling, it is imperative that the furniture be brushed or vacuumed regularly, BEFORE any

dirty or dingy appearance begins to be noticeable.

Local Repairs

All furniture should be inspected for freight damage and defects upon delivery. Inspection needs to be requested even if the

goods are delivered to a moving or storage facility. Should any problems be found, the factory should be notified at once. We

will then determine the best course of action to be taken. Charges for repairs will not be accepted without prior approval

from the factory. Freight damage is to be rectified with your freight carrier. Contact your freight carrier immediately.

Returns and Freight Charges

Written authorization must be obtained from the factory prior to any items being returned. In the event a piece of furniture is

to be returned to Parker Southern, Parker Southern is responsible for the freight to ship the furniture back to our factory from

the original ship to location. It is the customer's responsibility to have the furniture sufficiently wrapped and ready for pick up

at the original delivery address. If Parker Southern receives the furniture with damage from not being wrapped properly by

the customer, repair charges may apply. Once the repair is completed at our factory, the furniture will be returned to the

dealer FREIGHT COLLECT. In the event there is a free astray agreement with the carrier, there will be no freight charges

incurred by either party. Parker Southern is not liable for freight charges to ship replacement items.

Frames

Our frames are constructed of selected hardwoods and are guaranteed for 5 years as upholstered in the original fabric.

Mechanisms

Our mechanisms are guaranteed for 2 years as upholstered in the original fabric.

Battery Packs

The motorized mechanism in our footrests features two chrome buttons that are sensitive to touch. You just touch the buttons

and they will open or close the footrest. A battery pack is available for these at an upcharge and is guaranteed for 1 year.

Pocketed Coil Technology (only on 5088-SF)

Our system of Pocket Coil Technology is guaranteed for 3 years as upholstered in the original fabric.

Springs

Spring construction and all support of backs and seats, exclusive of cushions, is guaranteed against breaking or significant

slippage for 5 years under normal stress.

Foam and Cushions

Foam cushions are warranted for 1 year, while all other cushions are warranted for 3 years. Frequent turning and fluffing

will extend the life of all cushions and fabrics. In the rare incidence that your cushion(s) needs to be replaced, you must

supply the original acknowledgement number. Our warranty is valid only if the furniture has received normal usage and has

not been subjected to abuse. Cushion warranty is for the loss of cushion resiliency and not normal flattening or softening of

cushions. Softening and flattening of cushions occur with foam and fibers as a result of regular use and aging and should

not be considered manufacturing defects. We are not liable for freight charges to ship replacement cushions.

Fabric

We offer a full 1 year warranty (starting from the date order ships from Parker Southern) against wear under normal

use and with proper care. This warranty does not cover fading or pilling, which sometimes occur with normal use of some

that is defective. Replacement fabrics may vary some in dye-lot from the original fabric; however, we will make every effort

to match the dye-lot. All claims, within warranty, will be submitted to the fabric mill for evaluation. We will warrant only if the

mill states that there is an actual fabric defect. Fabric manufacturers will not honor warranties if there is evidence that the

furniture was exposed to a pet, therefore voiding our fabric warranty. Pets are abrasive to fabric and should not be allowed

on your furniture. The fabric warranty is also null and void if the fabric is improperly cleaned. Care of the fabric is important.

Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended for all our fabrics. To prevent overall soil, frequent

vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is also suggested. It is imperative that the seat cushions be turned

twice monthly to get the maximum wear from both the fabric and the cushioning.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT TREATMENT OF THE FABRIC WITH ANY KIND OF STAIN REPELLANT,

OR ANY AFTER MARKET CHEMICAL TREATMENT VOIDS OUR FABRIC WARRANTY.
