For Teachers:
This project will teach students about the four United States Presidential Assassinations. These lessons can be used in conjunction with lessons on the branches of government, the presidents, President's Day and elections. These lessons could also be integrated into lessons on historical events. They were developed for fourth graders but could be adapted to work for fifth through eighth grade students.
For Students
Check out the various websites on each president. Connect to them through the Resource page.
Complete the Presidential Scavenger Hunts. Your teacher will distribute the Scavenger Hunt worksheets.
Choose or be assigned one of the presidents and create a biography about the President, his life and his death. Be sure to check the writing rubric before you begin.
Share your project with your class.
