A “minute of peace” is one minute that unites worldwide activities of
state members, organizations and individuals
Concept
Potential SponsorsIndividuals State members & Organizations
• The “minute of peace” will start the 2nd decade of the culture of peace which is the “Action Decade”
• In that “minute of peace” achievements of the last year will be presented
• In that “minute of peace” new activities will be launched to be followed in the next years “minute of peace”
• In that “minute of peace” achievements of the last year will be presented online and offline in world wide events
Concept
• The culture of peace web site will include the minute of peace community
• All activities will show on one world map
• People can navigate zoom and see all activities
• Different icons and symbols will represent different activity types
• the culture of peace web site will show and manage the efforts of minute of peace community

• Schools from different countries will put up a culture show together
• The schools will record the culture show and create a 1 minute clip
• People will be able to see the culture shows online on the globe
• In the 10:10 the winning culture shows will be shown on the globe highlighted

• Individuals will join together in writing and composing of a “peace” song (to be sang by known artists), Creating together a video clip, Playing music, writing a story etc’

• Using volunteers to manage the online community

• Partner with global sponsors for worldwide activities (working under our instructions)
• Partner with local sponsors for local activities (working under our instructions)
• Allowing online donation
• Allowing active individuals and competition winners to decide to which organization/activity the funding will go
Getting to the people
• Use of widgets in all Social Networking websites (facebook, My space etc’)
• Advertising with sponsors (such as Google and Microsoft)
• Creating a “word of mouth” using web2.0 websites (YouTube, flickr, slideshare etc’)
• Word of mouth by state members, volunteers, committees and forums
• Worldwide events starting on that minute
