Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. There are sweet expressions on each face, and I know they feel the presence of the Lord. Sweet Holy Spirit, sweet heavenly Dove. Stay right here with us, filling us with Your love. And for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise. Without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived when we shall leave this place.”

POSTLUDE “Spirit Song” Wimber JOHN 16:12-15

“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when the Spirit of truth comes, the Spirit will guide you into all truth. The Spirit will not speak on the Spirit’s own; the Spirit will speak only what the Spirit hears, and the Spirit will tell you what is yet to come. The Spirit will glorify me because it is from me that the Spirit will receive what the Spirit will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what the Spirit will make known to you.”

CONGREGATION PLEASE STAND (AS YOU ARE ABLE)

CHORAL CALL TO WORSHIP “Bless the Lord My Soul” Mark Hayes CALL TO WORSHIP L: Welcome dear friends as we gather on this very special Sunday to celebrate Pentecost and the beginning of the church. At the same time, we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates and the new beginnings in their lives. P: At Pentecost, God gave humanity the Holy Spirit as a connecting point to guide Jesus’ followers, then, now and always. L: On this Graduation Sunday, we connect our hearts to those who are celebrating their accomplishments by praying for them and encouraging them in this new part of their journey. P: May God connect us by the Holy Spirit as we worship today and may we offer our love and support to our graduates now and into the future.
