ELEMENTS OF A PRINCESS FAIRY TALE

Out of love, God created us in His image and likeness

We turned away from Him through sin

God planned all along to reclaim our hearts.

It began under the old covenant with Israel (his Bride) and was completed in Christ through His death and resurrection (establishing his new Bride, the Church)

He established His Church and we are on a journey back to Him

He will come again as the great ending to the love story

GOD’S LOVE STORY

A beauty or a princess of royal lineage, who is good, kind, and virtuous

A hero who must rescue her and win her heart

You are a daughter of the King and a heir to throne

“And because you are children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying. “Abba! Father!”. So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God” Galatians 4:6-7

Christ comes and wins your heart by emptying himself on the cross.

Our adventure will be lived through our vocation – living our life on our journey to Heaven. “Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.” Ephesians 6:14-15

Christ is those qualities, does not just possess them.

“Jesus declared publicly: Whoever believes in me believes not in me but in the one who sent me, and whoever sees me, sees the one who sent me. I have come into the world as light, to prevent anyone who believes in me from staying in the dark any more” John 12: 44-46

Christ sees our inner beauty, beyond what we see in ourselves. A life of grace is to reveal that beauty.

Parents and friends as members of the Body of Christ. Also, the communion of Saints and the angels.
