A Collection of 35 Midcentury Dutch Company Books, Brochures & Pamphlets. Archive of works documenting the distinctive approach to publication design in Holland during the middle part of the 20th century, with scarce and important examples of company books, brochures and pamphlets by Paul Schuitema, Cas Oorthuys, Carel Blazer, and others, notably including two 1930s guides to Schi-phol airport designed by Fré Cohen; student pacifist and workers rights publications with photomontage images attributed to Arfot1 and Arfot2; Piet Marée’s whimsical and elegant car club book, 100.000 Kilometer, a complete run of Cement en Beton, with cover designs by Schuitema, as well as Oorthuys’ 1909 PLEM 1959 and Blazer’s 50 Jaar Bruynzeel, 1897-1947, described by Parr and Badger as two of the most important Dutch company boosk of the postwar era.
