    HISTORY

    In 1980, the IT industry was growing at a breath-taking rate.

    The founder of BIOSTAR GROUP, equipped with accumulatedexperiences in electronic parts buying and selling and with a carefulstudy of the future demand for mainboards and add-on cards,

    established BIOSTAR MICROTECH INTERNATIONAL CORP in1986.

    In the early years, BIOSTAR was concentrating on the manufacturingof mainboard built for XT form factor.

    To maintain steady business growth, BIOSTAR managed to keepinvesting large portion of capitals and manpower in new productsdesign and development, which at the same time has been enablingus to stay in competitive rank in the rapid evolution of computerindustry.
