I like to see the player work from the ground- up, meaning utilize the lower body. Most everyone would agree our legs are stronger than our arms. So, why not use them?! I want to incorporate a mental and mechanical balance with my students. Why mental? There is a reason they say that once you get to tour quality players, it changes to 80% mental and 20% physical. That’s why! I want my students to understand ball flights, divot direction and the correlation between the two. This allows the student to have more knowledge of their swing and what’s going on when it’s not up to par.
