What Makes An Institution Great ?• It is not just its buildings, or
classrooms, its libraries or its grounds. Yes these are important. But what makes an institution great are people who serve it, who are dedicated to it and who work day in and day out to make things happen, and are undaunted by difficulties and hardships because they believe in the cause.
• We have gathered here today to celebrate the hard work, dedication and the spirit of these people. Who are these people ? These are all of you and we in the Board of Directors salute each one of you and pray to Allah (swt) to bless you and reward you.
Badr Honor SocietyIn the chronicles of Islamic history, many a battle has been fought with valiant and gallant men and women, giving their lives to protect and promote Islam and to honor and protect Muslims, both men and women. The capture of Mecca, the defeat of Byzantine and Persian Empires, the capture of Damascus and conquest of Jerusalem and later Constantinople, all changed the course of history. Yet, there is no event as remarkable and awe inspiring as the Battle of Badr which changed the course of Islam.
