The causes of back pain are numerous; some are self- inflicted due to a lifetime of bad habits. Other back pain causes include accidents and muscle strains. Although the causes may be different, most often they share the same symptoms. Our spines are like the rest of our body, it's meant to move. Regular exercise can keep you and your back more flexible. We offer a variety of exercise classes such as, Yoga, Tai Chi, and Strength Training. We have also teamed up with Active Therapeutics to put together a great morning exercise program. So, make sure to check the calendar with all the listings/times. If you have more questions about back pain, come see Nurse Lynn's Presentation, on Wednesday, August 8, at 1:00pm. Path to Well-Being We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The sun was shining, it wasn't too hot and the staff at Blue Skies Flying Services made this day go with so much ease. We had some experienced former pilots flying with us today, Gus who flew commercially and Ed who was a pilot in the Army. We also had Marty who is a master at being a passenger flying with her son, Marc, who also fly's his own private plane. Marc also helped make this day happen. A huge thank you, Marc! We also had Shelia and our very own E.D. Mike, to join us to experience this one of a kind outing! The Residents got to see a different side of the Fountains as they got an aerial view of the grounds. It was so great to see our Residents Thrive! and be so excited to see some of them do the one thing they loved, getting back in the air. As for the other Residents, they will be able to cross this off their bucket list! Thriving

You may have noticed our

Dipsacus Fullonum is thriving.

Dipsacus Fullonum, also

known as “Teasel”, is a four-

to-six feet high plant and is

near omnipresent around our

property. As charming as the

teasel is, it is considered an

invasive species. Teasel seeds

sometime in their lives. The causes of

Path to Well-Being

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The sun was shining, it
