Friday 5 April – Term One, Newsletter 5, 2019
NEWSLETTERS ARE DISTRUBITED FORTNIGHTLY ON EVEN WEEKS.
Tena ra koutou ki nga hau e wha – Greetings to everybody.
Today is the exciting day of our first colour run fundraising event. By the time this newsletter goes out, the event will be over and we hope that everyone will have had an enjoyable time. Our fabulous parent support group have done an amazing job of organizing this event. Our thanks and appreciation go out to them and to all of our families for supporting the children with obtaining sponsorship. We also thank you all for supporting our Easter raffle. The Year 5 and 6 students head away on camp next week, which is the final week of this first school term. We know they will have a fabulous time. Thank you to the teachers for organizing this camp, and to all of the parents who have offered to help out with transport, supervision and other camp-related activities. We couldn’t have these great activities for our children without your support. The school will be a busy place this weekend. A Tae Kwon Do seminar is taking place in the hall on both days, and the special kiwi release event is happening throughout Saturday, which is based in the library and Pod 3.
Daylight Saving changes this weekend and clocks go back an hour on Saturday night. Have a wonderful weekend and holiday break. Naku Noa Rob Posthumus
HAPPY HURUPAKI BIRTHDAY TO: Ethan Henwood, Lucion Phillips, Matthew Hoggard, Theo Smith, Hemish Lal and Jaimy Fitchett!
LOST PROPERTY
In the 10 weeks the children have been at school the lost property bus has become
hidden under the big pile of misplaced items. Please have a look at this mountainous
pile outside Pod 4 by the last day of term, as any items left will be donated to charity.
Thank you.
