Draft Map Public Meetings – Winter 2015/2016

• FEMA will discuss the mapping process & timeline • Provide an opportunity for you to:

• Review the Preliminary map panels, Flood Insurance Report (FIS) & Summary of Map Actions (SOMA)

• Submit written comments • 90 Day Appeal Period

• Begins after comment period (dates to be determined) • Disagreements based on technical data • Data is required to support appeals (Elevation Certificates)

• Maps become Effective – Earliest 2017
