A pocos kilómetros de Estella encontramos el monasterio de Irache, que fue el primer hospital de peregrinos del Camino. Retomando la ruta iremos de pueblo en pueblo y dejando Villamayor de Monjardín sólo encontraremos campos y soledades hasta llegar a Los Arcos. The monastery of Irache is located a few kilometers from Estella which was the first pilgrims hospital on the Camino. Returning to the way, village aŌer village and leaving Villamayor de Monjardín, you will only find fields and solitudes before reaching Los Arcos.

Se tiene conocimiento del monasterio de Irache desde el año 958.
