Boat HireIt’s so easy to hire a boat with Latchi Watersports - foreign tourists only need a valid car driving licence!

We have the widest range of boats available of any rental facility in Cyprus.

You can book by phone, email or in person, in advance or on the day, depending on availability.

When you arrive for your boat trip, you will be given a full briefing of the area with a map showing where you can take your boat within the Akamas Coastline, plus tips on good snorkelling spots.

You will also receive a full and very comprehensive briefing on how to operate the boat, as well as safety tips and advice. Once you’ve been given your life jackets and snorkelling equipment, one of our RYA trained staff will drive you out of the harbour. Once you are out in the open water, you will be free to enjoy the calm and crystal clear waters, that are ideal conditions for first timers.

You can hire your boat for 1 hour, 2 hours,half a day or for the full day.

All of our boats have a canopy and come equipped with a cool box and snorkelling gear as well as all necessary safety equipment. You can also hire an underwater camera for some amazing and unusual holiday snaps!

On the surface the barren volcanic outcrop is home to multiple species of seabirds, while below the surface the

island is home to a vast array of marine life including tuna, grouper, trumpet fish and octopus. A great place for

snorkelling ordiving.

This site gets itsname because it has been

mined for its stone for around 2000 years and resembles a Roman amphitheatre. With a

small beach at the Eastern end of this bay you can drop anchor

and exploremore on foot.

This bay is famousfor its caves and jumbled rocks

that make it so interesting. When snorkelling, look out for the large family of trumpet fish that have made this bay their

home and observe the way they change colour relative to their

environment.

Literally ‘fountain of love’, but for the Romans it was the

fountain of life. Four cutouts in the rocks can still be seen

where they docked their boats, and underwater many pieces of

amphora can still be found, which make it a good spot

for snorkelling.

This experience will be completed at sea in pool-like conditions, since we arefortunate enough to have crystal clear, calm waters. Generally this program isdone at the famous Blue Lagoon where there is a chance to see an array ofdifferent types of fish, crabs, octopus and even turtles!

Seal Team is comprised of 10 different aqua missions in which your child willlearn important confined water skills and also participate in underwater gameswhich balance learning and fun. The child will receive their very own Seal Teamlog book in which they can log each aqua mission as they complete it.

The Discover Scuba Diving program is designed to give an introduction toscuba while developing a few of the necessary skills. Participants will start outin water shallow enough to stand up in and get comfortable before continuingto a maximum depth of 6 metres.

This is the first full qualification for diving. Everyone has a different learning styleand therefore everything you learn in this course you will first read (manual), then watch (videos) and finally do (confined/open water dives). There will be 5 modules of theory, videos and confined (shallow) water dives. This repetitionwill give you the practice and confidence you need to become a diver. Aftersuccessful completion of basic skills in confined (shallow) water, you willprogress to deeper water in 4 open water dives, giving you time to improve onthe skills you’ve been learning.

Choose from a huge selection of special dives such as digital photography,underwater scooter (james bond style!), wreck, deep, nitrox and fish I.D. Each dive can count towards Advanced Open Water certification.

This course consists of 5 dives and is designed for anyone who has alreadycompleted the Open Water course and wants to learn about different aspects ofdiving and improve their skills. The required dives are deep (to 30m, 15yrs+ or21m 12-15) and navigation (underwater compass use) with the remaining 3 divesof your choice, including wreck diving, dpv (scooters), photography, peakperformance buoyancy and many more!

Don’t have that much time on your holiday? No problem, you can complete theScuba Diver Course in just a day and a half! This is half of the Open WaterCourse and consists of a small amount of classroom time, 3 confined dives and2 open water dives. You can upgrade to the Open Water certification at anytime as this certification is good for life.
