The Prayers
The Collect of the Day Presider The Lord be with you. People And with thy spirit. Presider Let us pray.
Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Weekdays, March 30-April 3 8 am—Morning Prayer (Mon-Fri) Noon—Holy Eucharist (Mon-Thur)
Maundy Thursday, April 2 6:15 pm—Gathering meal in the Parish Library 7 pm—Holy Eucharist with Foot Washing and the Stripping of the Altar (All are invited to take part in the Foot Washing, but no one is required.
We do urge you to be prepared to remove footwear if you choose to participate in the ceremony.)
Good Friday, April 3 11:15 am—Stations of the Cross around Capitol Square Noon—“The Three Hours” Liturgy for Good Friday
Holy Saturday, April 4 8 pm—Great Vigil of Easter with Baptisms St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 333 S. Drexel, Bexley
Easter Day, April 5 8:00 am—Festival Holy Eucharist 9:15 am—Parish Breakfast in the Undercroft. All are welcome—please bring a dish to share if possible. 10:30 am—Festival Holy Eucharist
New Ministry Opportunity Trinity is currently seeking volunteers, during the weekly Prayers of the People, to ‘stand in the breach’ and lift to God in prayer the specific needs of our Trinity brothers and sisters, the church, and the world, that those prayers would come from the midst of the people. If you are interested in participating in this new ministry please contact John Redden at 614.402.8328 or [email protected].

A Banquet of Liturgical Prayer this week “Slicing, Dicing, and Stirring Our Prayers”
Join the Rector and Parish Seminarian for a conversation on the process of “cooking up” our prayers for the weekly liturgy. This prayer-writing practice will continue through Lent, including Palm Sunday.
