As per Immigration plan of 2017, about 51000 immigrants will be allowed to immigrate to Canada through the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) compared to 47,800 in 2016. It means that the candidates will have multiple options or pathways to apply and get Permanent Residency (PR) in Canada.

4. BENEFITS TO FAMILY SPONSORED APPLICANTS

The candidates applying through Family Immigration Programs (FIP) will get multiple benefits, i.e.

A total of 84000 Immigrants will be allowed via FIP compared to 80000 last year

Processing will be faster in FIP this time around Conditional Permanent Resident condition to be

removed in Spousal Sponsorship

5. MORE IMMIGRANTS THROUGH FAST EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM

In 2017, about 71, 700 immigrants will be invited through three key streams of fastest Express Entry System of Canada with the total increase of 23% compared to year 2016. The key three streams of EE System are:
