The Adolf Messer GmbH, founded in 1898, developed the firstoxyfuel torches for welding and cutting. The company becamethe worldwide known gas and welding technology manufacturer Messer Griesheim GmbH. In 1999 the welding and cutting technology activities were merged in the MesserCutting & Welding GmbH, and have been integrated into the MEC Holding GmbH in 2000. Since February 2005 MEC Holding GmbH becomes part of the Messer world.

The many years of co-operation with the gas companies havegiven us high competency in the application of technical andhigh-purity gases. At the Frankfurt / Main location Messer Cutting & Welding combines many years of experience in welding and process technology with innovation, quality and reliability. The TORNADO single stage, spring-loaded pressure regulator is a time and industry proven design that has

envolved from more than 100 years of Messer German engineering experience and technology to ensure the

accurate control of industrial gases with minimum working pressure fluctuations and comparatively high

flowrates.

TORNADO regulators are a visibly strong, no nonsense, durable construction that sets the standard for pressure

regulators used throughout heavy duty welding, brazing, heating, cutting, and gouging applications.

The TORNADO uses the most up-to-date production and testing facilities to ensure a reliable, versatile, afford-

able, high performance regulator.

The MINITHERM® torch range

The MINITHERM® product range has been developed in accordance with the requirements of industry and trade for a small and lightweight injector torch to cover special demands.

Compared with conventional hand torches the considerably lower weight of our MINITHERM® handles andattachments enable fatigue-free continuous working. This is of particular advantage in pipework construction,in manufacturing of jewellery, dental laboratories and precision parts as well as for mass production of hand-welded, brazed or heat-treated components.

Due to the small handle size any welding, brazing and heating work in difficult areas and hard to reach locations can usually be carried out with adequate freedom of movement.

The entire MINITHERM® product range complies with the requirements of the „Accident Prevention Regulations for Welding, Cutting and Allied Processes“ (BGVD1) as well as of DIN 8543.
