Originally famous for our “Motel Row” in the 1950s and 60s, Sunny Isles Beach has undergone a transformation throughout the last 20 years. Renowned architects created a highly desirable, upscale seaside community for both residents and visitors. There is much to see and do in SIB—your adventure awaits.

When dining out, gratuity is usually not included.

When at the beach, ask the lifeguards about the daily conditions—there may be ocean hazards.

Sea turtle season is April – October. Steer clear of marked sea turtle nests and do not approach or disturb nesting turtles. Don’t point bright lights at the beach as they can confuse sea turtles and lead them away from the ocean.

Respect traffic signals and pedestrian right-of-ways. Buckle up, don’t drink and drive, and always mind the road.

When walking, stay on sidewalks and cross at the intersection. Jaywalking is dangerous and illegal. At most traffic lights, there are buttons to push to get the walk signal, which is a lighted ‘walking person’. When the crosswalk signal is flashing, STOP, be aware of vehicles and observe caution.
