• Identify the ASTC member site and take a look at their Web 1.0 presence.

• Learn about the museum's mission and try to get a sense of their audience and institutional culture.

• Identify simple and sustainable ways in which they can update their Web approach.

• Focus on methods that build on existing outreach efforts.

• Look for ways to involve visitors and to connect with them in new ways and in new places.

• Be specific. Detail new approaches, implementation of existing technologies, and the use of popular social sites and Web services.
