1 MoUsEtRaP cAr A 3rd QUARTER PHYSICS PROJECT The Destination: Build an originally designed vehicle car from recycled materials that can travel more than 30 meters on a level surface using only the energy from a standard-sized mouse trap. the TASK The vehicle must be powered by a single “ ------” brand mousetrap. PURCHASED CAR KITS ARE ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. The objective of this project is for a 3 person group to research, design and build YOUR OWN CAR from scratch. Your vehicle must stat moving on its own upon release from the mouse trap - no other way. Only FINAL DISPLACEMENT will be measured which is the straight line from the starting line position to the front -most part of the vehicle at its final resting point. Your goal is a displacement of 30 m! All cars must achieve a minimum of 5 meters.
