Country Traditions 3rd Quarter- 2012 Edition Newsletter Speaking of cooling off, join us for our “Christmas in July” event. We will be featuring all of our new Christmas lines and projects, which are sure to leave you feeling cool. We also have some extra special things planned, so don’t miss out. Country Traditions will be re-enforcing the “draft” in August, so, you are being recruited. For “Quilts of Valor” this year, we need your help making 168 blocks. Read more about this event inside and help honor and comfort our veterans. We also have a very special line of fabric coming called “Project Linus,” in which a portion of proceeds are donated to the cause. Don’t forget that we are a drop off point for the “Project Linus” quilts. We will be very busy in September and have lots of fun planned for you. “ PFAFF Foot Fridays” are back. Every Friday will feature a PFAFF foot, so, come see what you can do and accessorize your machine. We also have the fall bus trip traveling to 5 states and 12 shops. Register early to get your Country Traditions’ travel bucks. Our goal is to make 4 quilts. So, we need your help making 168
blocks. Simply go to the Country Traditions website

pattern. Then, make as many of them as you can using shades of red, white, and blue fabrics. Turn your finished blocks into the
store by Labor Day.
If you would rather help sew all the blocks together and/or, if you have a long arm
