It’s the season of fresh, new beginnings & special celebrations! The spring and summer months are so exciting in the Quilting world, as we have so many opportunities around us to blossom and grow our quilting knowledge and skills. Here at Country Traditions we are greeting Spring with bolts and bolts of “New” fabric lines. Each line is blooming with color, texture, and wonderful designs. Soon the fabric shelves will be full again with inspiration. Plus in the Gift and Home Decor area spring has been arriving with all kinds of “needful” things. For Mother’s Day and your special occasions gift giving needs we now carry Willow Tree Angels. Give your home and yard a “Fresh” spring/summer look with all our unique and fun theme decor. Blooming throughout the shop are “fun” themed Home Decor collections celebrating: quilters, life at the cabin/lake, the joy of the garden, and fun at the beach. All with matching fabric lines to go with each theme. You will want to come in often to see the ever changing displays. It’s time to get out and take in some “fresh” air. Join us for the great quilters migration across Nebraska. The “Seasons Sewn” Nebraska Shop Hop is upon us. Grab your quilting friends and hurry in for your bag. Make sure you stop by the Fremont Art Association and see their special art exhibit featuring the Country Traditions Design Team. And our “NEW” Saturday Sampler season, featuring Scott’s Quilter’s Guide to the Galaxy is starting. Have you registered yet? For something totally “New”, join us in May for our 1st Annual Customer Quilt Show. We know many talented quilters and are excited to show off their amazing works. Come mingle with your friends at the quilt show reception, May 7th. As the days fly by and June arrives, let the traveling begin. We will be busy hosting our Accuquilt Let’s Go! Quilting Retreat. Greeting quilters from around the country. And as the summer vacation plans are getting made, make sure to plan your stops along the way at your favorite Row by Row Experience shops. Twice as Nice Potatoes
Ingredients1 Cheesy Bacon Dip Mix4 large baking potatoes2 cups sour cream2 cups shredded cheese
DirectionsPreheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake potatoes until done (approximately 1 hour). Combine Cheesy Bacon Dip Mix and sour cream in a small bowl. Mix well. When potatoes are baked, cut them in half length-wise. Scoop out the inside of the potatoes and place in a medium mixing bowl. Add Cheesy Bacon Dip mixture to taste (approximately 1/4 cup per potato). Use blender or mash by hand until combined. Refill potato shells and top with shredded cheese. Bake until cheese begins to brown.
