Objective This course presents a comprehensive workshop of 3D printing that you would be able to know the 3D model design and manufacturing principle for metal 3D printing where you can build printable 3D prototypes/products. Exclusively offered at Conformal Cooling Technology Center in Hong Kong Productivity Council, students will learn and apply advanced additive manufacturing with metals during this course. Throughout this course, participants will be able to understand in detail about the background knowledge of 3D printing and the development of application metal 3D printers through lectures and demonstrations. This workshop is aimed at designers and engineers who are interested in designing, dimensioning and engineering parts for metal 3D printing technology. Target Participants Participants who are interested in tooling and mold design, product design, and manufacturing processing development.  

Medium of Instruction Cantonese (English terms will be used where appropriate)  

Date and Time 21 – 22 March 2016 (Mon – Tue), 9:30am – 5:00pm  

Duration 6 hours per day, total 12 lecturing hours.  

Award of Certificate Participants who have attained at least 75% attendance will be awarded the certificates of attendance issued by the Hong Kong Productivity Council.
