The world's largest watersports trade fair is the most important event for everyone who loves the big wet! You will not find as much to see and do anywhere else: you will experience boats and yachts of all sizes, exciting types of sport, the latest equipment and fantastic holiday offers in 16 halls and 18 theme worlds. From super yachts to the smallest of dinghies – all imaginable types of boats and yachts will be dropping their anchors at boot 2018. The unique variety has just the thing for any taste and budget. And no-one will be “left at sea” to make their choices. Beginners may, for example, discover the basics of the maritime lifestyle at the Start Boating stand. And even “old salts” will findthe best advice from exhibitors and independent experts!

Ship ahoy: hugeselection meets best advice.

The boot Sailing Centre in hall 15 will inform you about the latest trends and the most awe-inspiring sailing trips. Sailing pros from the four corners of the globe will be on hand to chat about their adventures and answer any of your questions. You think that sailing is more spectacular the more hulls you have? Catamaran enthusiasts will be able to find exactly what they are looking forin the Multihull Forum that is just a few metres away.

There is even great fun to be had by the young ones at the boot trade fair! They can try their hand in hall 14 at dinghy sailing in an “Optimist”, learn the ropes and find out everything about safety on board. Powerful turbines deliver the windfor your sails.

THE WAVE: The public’s favourite! The first deep-water wave at a watersports trade fair was amassive success last year. Visitors – both beginners and experts – conquered THE WAVE and thrilled spectators. Why not dare totake the ultimate ride in hall 8a! And if you simply cannot get enough, then why not try wakeboarding, skimboarding andstand-up paddling in the large basin that's in the Beach World, which is just a little further along?

Show what you can do on THE WAVE! Just book your slot inone of the freesurfing sessions online in advance. The new hall 8a: The go-to place for boarders.

There is now also a place for boardsport products at the Beach World in hall 8a. It is where windsurfers, kitesurfers, wakeboarders, surfers, stand-up paddlers and skimboarders will find all that their hearts desire. They will also be able to get the right advice from well-known manufacturers!

Selected hotels that focus particularly on watersportswill be presenting themselves in hall 13. It doesn’t matter if your thing is kiting, scuba diving or even surf yoga: You are certain to find a beach resort that will be a hit with the whole family here.

Outdoor World:Canoes, bait andcooks. Paddlers and anglers will feel right at home at our Outdoor World in hall 13. You can demonstrate your skills on the waterin the World of Paddling. Anglers and sports fishers will beable to try out bait and learn tricks for fly fishing. At the central stage, experts will be on hand to help even beginners find therod that is right for them. And to round the whole thing off, there will be a tasty fish dish cooked by our master chef.

A variety of activities will keep the kids happy so that mum and dad can enjoy the fair without worrying. Be it climbing, adventure or ‘making’ fun: your little ones will definitely have no time to get bored here.

Information, testing, shopping, chilling – divers can do it all inHall 3. Get advice and then try out the equipment in our diving pool right away. Relive the memories of your last holiday withyour friends and book your next trip straight away. And if the outside world is getting just too loud again, then just take a dive into the deep blue: diving teachers will accompany beginnerson their first dive in our try-dive pool.
