The 31st edition of the InternationalFestival of Fashion and Photographyat Hyères will take place at the villaNoailles between the 21st and the25th of April, 2016. The exhibitionswill run until the 22nd of May.
The festival directed byJean-Pierre Blanc and presidedover by Didier Grumbach, annuallyencourages and supports youngartists in the fields of fashion andphotography. Thanks to the supportof the festival’s partners, severalprizes will be awarded to thecompeting young artists.
The House of Paco Rabanne is the guestof honour at the next InternationalFestival of Fashion and Photographyin Hyères, taking place betweenApril 21st and 25th, 2016 at the villaNoailles, built in 1924 by thearchitect Robert Mallet-Stevensfor the art patrons Charles andMarie-Laure de Noailles.
Julien Dossena, artistic director of The House of Paco Rabanne will be the President of the fashion jury
Born in Brittany in 1982, Julien Dossena grew up between the village of Pouldu in the Finistère region, Berlin and the South of France. After his baccalaureate in 2000, he studied at the Ecole d’Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris, then at La Cambre, an internationally recognized school in Brussels specialized in the world of art and design, from 2002 to 2007.While still a student, he was awarded the Special Prize of the Jury and the 1.2.3 Prize at the Festival International de la Mode of Hyères in 2006.
In 2008, he joined the Runway Studio at Balenciaga as Senior Designer, working side by side with Nicolas Ghesquière. He stayed there until the latter departed in 2012, and then launched his own ready-to-wear brand, Atto.In July 2013, after being named Artistic Director of Paco Rabanne, he renewed and relaunched their women’s ready-to-wear, that had run out of steam since the departure of founder Paco Rabanne in 1999.

William Klein is the President of the photography jury of the 31st International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyeres, built in 1924 by the architect Robert Mallet-Stevens for the art patrons Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles.

The festival decides to open the field of possibilities in photography by asking the ten finalists to take two still lifes with fashion accessories.
Photographs published in thecatalog will be presented at the festival and may be subjects for a special price
The photography jury, presided by William Klein met in Paris on the 1st of February in order to choose the 10 candidates for the final competition (more than 700 entriesreceived and 60 shortlisted).The members of the jury are:
