Day 1 Mind Programming through Music:

"Mind Programming through Music" When I work with people to help them shift their

health and their lives, there are a few key things that I do. I have them start lifting their

emotions, Identify the blocks/issues in their subconscious mind programming, work with

their energy, look at what I call the specific"energetic ingredients" in their subconscious

mind/AKA the 4MBS Keys, and also have them release the old negative programming

and energy from their mind and body... (amongst a few other things). So there are

certain steps I have them take, but it's always important to have them lift themselves

along the way.

One of the ways I have them do that is through songs. I have been doing this

since I was a kid and didn't realize until I went through my injury how helpful it could be

when you choose the right songs! In my group courses, I always have people ask me

for song ideas to help them lift themselves... and there are so many!! So what I am

going to do, for the next 30 days is I am going to share various songs with you that I

have used at some point.... and I am also going to share my mindset with you for it... basically what meaning I gave it to help me program my mind. Now I want to warn you

up front, most of the songs I made up my own meaning to .... and it is not what the song

was written for. hah! Yes..a bit silly, but I was working on programming my mind. If there

are any you like, I would encourage you to do the same. Another thing is- I spent time

looking for songs, I didn't care what genre it was- as long as I could get the song and

create a feeling to it, it was golden!! Some of them I still laugh at. But I was on a mission

and didn't care where the song came from as long as it helped me lift myself.

That said Day 1's song is: Kind And Generous by Natalie Merchant.

The reason I picked this song is because I could not find the feeling of gratitude at all. I

was a hot mess, frustrated, depressed and in a lot of pain. I picked it because gratitude

is a powerful, strong positive energy/emotion and also because I wanted to feel

authentically grateful to those who were so kind to help me during my injury. So I would

play this song over and over and just think of every little thing I could to feel grateful for,

the big and little things people did for me, and really bring in the FEELING as much as I

could. To this day this song brings happy tears to my eyes. When I listen to it now, I

think of everyone I am grateful for and that I have so much gratitude to the

Universe/God, for all of the guidance I continue to receive and for continuing to support

my life in the most beautiful ways. I also am lucky to connect with the most wonderful

people who are always so sweet and I am grateful to them. I no longer need this song to

get to a place of gratitude, but I still love when I do hear it!

Day 2 Mind Programming Through Music

Ok warning, this song is a bit outdated, but so uplifting. Keeping with the theme of music

that can be powerful to help program your mind and lift your spirits, Day 2's song

actually made me laugh as I went to go type it in because it's an older song. But when I

was working with my mind and energy, I didn't care what the song was as long as it

brought in positive mind programming and happiness! That was the criteria. When I

went to pull up the YouTube Video link for it to share it with you, it started to play and

brought happy tears to my eyes.

The song is "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves. Now this song is really about a lover, however like I mentioned on day 1, I shaped the songs in my mind to mean

what I wanted it to mean for me. Since I wanted to

feel HAPPY and I was working on walking freely

and without pain at the time I was listening to it,

the lyrics: "walking on sunshine and don't it feel

good!" were helpful for my mind. The idea of

walking and it FEELS good! (not painful) and this

song is so upbeat it's energizing (it was before I

figured out how to release pain with the mind

quickly. I was still learning and figuring it out. So

at that point, getting the idea in my head that walking didn't have to be painful and

could be fun was key!) Other people that I have worked with will listen to it just to be

happy! and feel alive in the morning. Or for just "walking" through life happy!! (just

because it is uplifting, even if they do not have an injury).

After I got better, I remember listening to my old playlists while driving down Hollywood

Blvd, laughing to myself and thinking that I am probably the only one in Hollywood

listening to this song right now. But I didn't care. I just laughed to myself and turned it

up!! ha. Life is good and it's such a happy song. Wiping my happy tears and wishing you

an amazing day!

Day 3 Mind Programming Through Music

Ok, day 3 ...and I am 3 for 3! Meaning I have had happy tears every day now! haha.

Oy! I am getting the hint that I am going to need to start posting these before I do my

make up in the morning. Ha.. Anways, here we go, This song has a special place in my

heart. I used it for many different mind programming reminders.

Miley Cyrus - The Climb

It was actually near the end of my

injury/recovery when it came out.

But it spoke to my doubt that I

would never make it. It also

reminded me to make sure to LIFT

from within. The words, "It's about

the climb" reminded me to enjoy the

climb (the "climb" of lifting myself)

and to enjoy the moment. I wanted

to rush everything and hurry up and

get better...and to be impatient with

myself, but instead, I used it to remind me each day to stay centered LIFT from within. By not being impatient with

myself and remembering to lift from within, things actually happened faster! And with joy

and not angst. While it reminded me of that, I also used it to remind me to keep pushing!

To stay focused. So it was a balanced mix of determination with enjoying the process

and the moment. A great reminder to keep my energy up every day!

Some lyrics: "I got to be strong. Just keep pushing on. Sometimes might knock

me down. But no, I'm not breaking"

In short it was a good reminder to BE in the moment. To LIFT in the moment and to put

my effort into the moment instead of seeing that I was not yet where I wanted to be.It

can be a powerful but simple reminder even for today, to stay focused and determined

about where you want to go and yet to remember to lift yourself within and fully happily

enjoy this amazing day!

Day 4 Mind Programming Through Music

This song is such a powerful song no matter where you are in life. When I talk about

using music it to help “program” the mind, remember that it takes repetition. Just like

learning the alphabet, you would not expect to remember the alphabet after going

through it once. The same is true for anything. Except when using music, it’s more

about the getting the FEELING and making the feeling a habit. During my injury I used

today’s song to remind me to be my best self every day…. Everyday, every day. No

matter how I felt – It reminded me to pick myself up. The more I learned about the

power of the mind and the more things I discovered, the more I wanted to lift myself and

program my mind. It just became about figuring out HOW to do it… and HOW to use

my mind to influence my body. That was key. But I used this song to remind me every

day that it is a CHOICE. I knew that it was not about making the choice one day, rather

making the choice every day. So going through my injury, I had to make the choice

every day to be my best and live the day the BEST I could for one “today” after another.

This song helped remind me of that and ingrain that into my mind.

The song is:I Choose by India Arie

Day 5 Mind Programming Through Music

Last night I was driving back home

from San Diego, going through my

old playlists to get today's song, but

instead, yesterday's song started

playing and brought back even more

memories. When I was working on

healing with my mind, most people

around me thought it was a crazy

idea...and in truth - so did I. But, I

knew the placebo worked, so it really

was my only hope at the time. So I

knew I had to shut out other people's opinions. Sometimes I would rewind just this part of the song, and listen to it over and

over and remind myself to just follow my own ideas and let others have theirs.

"I was always too concerned about what everybody would think

But I can't live for everybody; I gotta live my life for me, yeah"

Hindsight is incredible. I hate to think about where I would be today had I listened to

what everyone else said. Since everyone else had given up on me, I knew I had to do

something.

This was another part of the song that stood out as I was driving. "Ain't nothing going to

happen unless I decide." It reminded me to take ownership of my life. I remember every

day around 5pm, I would hear more traffic and hear my neighbors pulling into their

garages as they came home from work. I would think about my doctors all leaving the

office and heading home to their families. And at that time the thought would always

cross my mind, that they were not thinking about my problem. It was not their problem. I

knew I had a long night ahead of me... miserable, unable to sleep and in pain. I had to

stop thinking about my problem being someone else's job to fix and start owning it as

my responsibility.

Page 8: 30 Days: Mind Programming Through Music - Brandy Gillmore€¦ · "Mind Programming through Music" When I work with people to help them shift their health and their lives, there are

When I was first trying to heal with the mind - before I actually figured it out, I was trying

to "implement" the idea of the placebo. I was trying to "believe I was already healed" -

which was initially the reason I had used today's song, to remind myself over and over

to believe I was already healed. And though that did not work - today's song "I Believe

I Can Fly" by R. Kellyreminded me to believe in myself and to have faith. It helped

remind me to just keep going!! It gave me hope on days when hope was all I needed to

keep going until I did figure it out.

After I did figure out how to actually use my mind and I got my health and life back

(only better), I started working with people and helping others to do mind/energy work

to help them lift their health and/or their lives.

As I mentioned in my previous posts, I always like people to have at least 1 theme song.

This song has been a favorite for several of my clients to have hope, believe in

themselves, and have the courage to keep going until they make it!

My hope is that it reminds you to "spread your wings and fly" in whatever you are

doing in your life and in your day today. Happy Friday. xox

Day 6 Mind Programming Through Music

Today's song is deep, insightful, and

powerful.

So often, when people are working with

me and learning to work with their

mind, they comment how crazy it is that

I was able to figure things out myself

(with guidance from above, of course).

People are in awe how I was able to do

it without help.

This song takes me straight back to those times. While I was listening to this song, I felt

like my whole world was falling apart. I was sick, in pain, and in bed. Moreover, my

employer had held my position open for me for much longer than they needed to.

When it eventually became clear that I was not coming back, I lost the job I loved. I was

on disability, financially stressed, and just trying to hold on to my house at the time. My

whole world had fallen apart. In short, I was a hot mess!

Once I started working with my mind, I would try to not let myself feel down and stay

down. I always put effort into trying to lift myself and was always figuring out ways of

doing it. I used this song many times a day as a helpful reminder to let go of my stress,

get a new vision for my life, and focus on where I wanted to go. The lyrics are perfect for

it. Here are a few lines:

“Let it go,

Let it roll right off your shoulder”

“Let it in,

Let your clarity define you”

8

Page 10: 30 Days: Mind Programming Through Music - Brandy Gillmore€¦ · "Mind Programming through Music" When I work with people to help them shift their health and their lives, there are

“We will only just remember how it feels”

These lyrics were so perfect. For me, this was a reminder to let go of the stress, get

clarity for my new vision of where I wanted to go, and also remember how it feels to do

just that.

“Our lives are made in these small hours”

To me, this part means that our lives are made in the time we spend in “conscious

creation”, which basically means setting our minds on helping to create our lives

ourselves.

“We'll get by, it's the heart that really matters in the end”

During this time, I had just wanted to shut down completely. This song reminded me

to open my heart and to purposely just feel love for other people. Not to ask for their

love in return, but just for me, because it feels amazing to love other people.

And on that note, sending love to you!! Wishing you a most happy day full of big and

“Little Wonders”, which is the name of the song. “Little Wonders” by Rob Thomas.”

Day 7 Mind Programming Through Music

It’s the perfect for taking a day off and doing whatever it is that you want to be doing!

During my injury, I had formed negative feelings towards life. I spent many years waiting

for someone to fix me. I would get a referral to some new doctor or specialist and each

time, I had tunnel vision. I would just try to make it through each day until my

appointment came. It was the only thing I was looking forward to in life. Yet one after

another, each doctor would say, "There’s nothing else we can do for you."

Today’s song has this in its lyrics: “I know I'm not a hopeless case”

And though I didn’t know HOW I was going to get better, I just decided that I WOULD

figure it out! So this part of the song became a key reminder for me.

As I began working with my mind, I realized that during this time, I had wanted so badly

for my appointments to hurry up and come. I had developed a habit, a mindset that I just

wanted each day to come and go. This meant that before each day even started, I was

ready for it to hurry up and be over! Oy! When I became conscious of this habit, I knew I

needed to change my energy about it. So today’s song also became a daily reminder for

me to do that.

Hmm… reflecting now, maybe I changed it too much!? Every night, I feel like I am a kid

that wants to stay up all night and I have to put myself to bed! Haha. I just want to stay

up and live each day to it’s fullest. Ha.

For many people, when they take a moment and pay attention to how they really FEEL,

they are surprised at what comes up. I was working with a client the other day, who has

been doing incredible! She has been through a lot and has made incredible progress in

working on walking again. (She was completely paralyzed for years.) She is still

working on strengthening. Even though she is not all the way better yet, she is already

inspiring so many people around her!

But the other day, she had an “off day” with negativity and she took a little bit of a set-

back. She felt like her whole day was messed up. But… there was still time left of the

day. Instead of “writing off” the rest of her day, she decided that she wanted to lift her

energy. We connected on the phone quickly and I helped her lift her energy. She

Day 8 Mind Programming Through Music

Today’s song is called Strength, Courage, and Wisdom! And the opening line to

the song is:

"Inside my head there lives a dream that I want to see in the sun! Behind my eyes there

lives a me that I've been hiding for much too long"

The more I learned about the power of the mind, the more I just wanted to figure out

HOW to use it. I used this song to remind me to hold on to my dream, to have faith, and

mostly to find and connect to my inner strength and courage.

Happiest Monday! Whatever your dreams are, I am looking forward to seeing them

“make it into the sun”!

Day 9 Mind Programming Through Music

Warning: I would not listen to this song while

driving! If I listen to this song while

driving, it makes it so hard not to speed… so

listening to this while at the gym or in the

morning is best. It’s that energizing!!

This song to me was about taking control

and ownership of my life and my health and

my future!! And doing it TODAY! Sometimes

people get into the mindset of watching days

pass by.

When I was working out and working on getting strength back in my body, I would

listen to this song and FEEL every freaking word of it! I was tired of being sick, tired of

my life passing me by, and tired of living in fear. Done! I just knew, if my thoughts

create my life, then I was going to get better and create a better life!

"It's my life

It's now or never

I ain't gonna live forever

I just want to live while I'm alive

"It's my life"

What most people don’t realize is that living life fully really does start INSIDE. I was

working with a new client the other day for mind-set and conscious creation. This client

recently had a relationship break up, which is part of the reason she reached out.

On the outside, she has an amazing life – lives in a paradise location, great business,

etc. But since the breakup happened, she can go anywhere – even on her incredible

vacations - and nothing was really fun for her because she was carrying around this

heaviness inside.

Of course we worked to release that and reconnect her with that inner joy But the

thing is, many people walk around with heaviness inside, then they wonder why they are

not “in love” with life. But then, when they let it go – they start to really GET it!! Happiness truly starts from within! And the more you can bring in, the better it gets on

the outside!

Day 10 Mind Programming Through Music

Ok… After yesterday’s HIGH energy song,

this one brings me back to happy tears! Oy.

My heart could not love possibly love this

song more.

Which is funny to say, because I found this

song (or it found me) during my injury when I

was going through a break up. Literally every

part of my life fell apart during my injury,

including with my fiancé, who I felt at the

time was the love of my life… but that ended

too.

As I was working with my mind, I knew that I had to get to a place of happy. At first it

was hard and I wanted to fall apart (and it really I felt like I was). So I would listen to

this song over and over and just sincerely wish my ex the absolute best, knowing that it

was time for our journeys to go separate ways. Then I would think of my family, my

friends and all people in the world, and from my heart, I would really wish the best for

everyone (including myself). My brother Luke had his son at the time, and every part of

my heart was so proud of him and wishing him the best! It quickly became one of my

favorite songs. It was such a euphoric feeling.

Today, I am friends with my ex and I really would not want it any other way… it turned

out exactly the way it needed to! It’s incredible how we really can take the worst part of

our lives and transform it into a whole new part of our life. I still listen to this song and

just wish the best for everyone. We are truly incredible beings and it’s exciting to see

people waking up to this awareness.

I have several clients who now use this song for the same reminder. It’s still a morning

ritual of authentically wishing the best for everyone. LOVE it!

"My wish for you is that this life becomes all that you want it to

Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small

You never need to carry more than you can hold

And while you're out there getting where you're getting to

I hope you know somebody loves you and wants the same things too"

My Wish For You by Rascal Flatts

Day 11 Mind Programming Through Music

As I am posting this song, it actually touches me in a very interesting way. Yes, every

word reminds me of my injury… but it’s more than that. It reminds me of my mindset

during my injury, before I could see energy. I had the hardest time having faith,

believing that everything was going to be ok and that things would work out. That is

what I used this song for: to remind me to have faith.

Now, I experience the world the way I do and see everything in energy. This gift I am so

grateful for – I actually forgot how hard it was at the time to “see” anything positive in the

future at all.

I think sometimes faith is one of the hardest things for people to have. Listening to

this song reminded me of that mindset. I don't know if that makes sense… but when I

started writing this “series,” the one thing I wanted to do is just write from a place of

transparency. So, I’m not sure if that makes sense - but that is what came up for me.

Today, when I work with people daily, I am always helping them to get to a place where

they can see a brighter future, have faith and have positive expectation (and of course

teaching them how to shift their mind and energy). Unfortunately, many people are

afraid of the future, are afraid to make changes, and have a lot of uncertainty about life.

It's always so beautiful once they authentically make that shift.

Just curious what would happen if everyone lived today in positive expectation that

this day was not going to be average but really be amazing! And that their lives were

going to be getting better and better. What if everyone KNEW that.. and really felt it..

at least just for today? (And a lot of todays!)

Sending you love today. ❤

Ok… this song is so freaking happy, I love it.

When I first started working with my mind for healing and transforming my life, I needed

to remind myself daily of this awareness. And as I started to improve, it gave me hope. I

used this song to remind myself to create heaven on earth.

My favorite part of the song:

"In this world we're just beginning

To understand the miracle of living

Baby, I was afraid before

But I'm not afraid anymore"

So perfect! Life is a MIRACLE and we, as a culture, are just starting to GET that! Happy

Friday! Wishing you an amazing day living in this miracle of life.

To create a new life and a vision for your life, you have to be willing to take a step

back from your current reality. Basically, to not get so emotionally entangled in your

current circumstances that you continue to create more of the same in your life. Then

start bringing in a new vision and vibrating at a new level of energy. I love today’s song

for that reason.

The lyrics:

"I want to run through the halls of my high school

I want to scream at the top of my lungs

I just found out there's no such thing as the real world

Just a lie you've got to rise above"

Though at that time, I could not run at the time or do anything close to it. I used it to

remind me to take a step back from my current circumstances and to get focused and to

not believe in my “real world" and that it was only my current circumstances that I could

change. And that:

"I'd like to think the best of me

Is still hiding

Up my sleeve"

Remember today to love and appreciate

what is great in your life. And for the things

that may not be great, see if you can

create the emotional distance from them

you need to be able to bring in a new

vision.

Day 14 Mind Programming Through Music

When is “losing yourself” actually a good

idea? Typically, it's more about finding

yourself, creating yourself, learning to love

yourself, and finding your POWER. But

today's song is actually about “losing

yourself”.

Now, I have been hearing from a lot of

people via email, text, etc. how much they

are loving this music segment. So it’s nice to

know that a lot more people are enjoying

this music and that many of them are just

not taking the time to hit the “like” button or

comment on FB/Instagram/Twitter. The feedback is always good… because my goal is to provide things on this page that can

really be helpful and enjoyable.

So today, when one of those clients messaged me about how much she has loved the

music segment I am doing, I responded to her message and asked her which of the

songs I recommended to her for her “happy playlist” was her favorite and how it makes

her feel as she listens to it.

Her response was this. She said she has so many favorites that she cannot pick just

one. But she mentioned ONE of her top favorites. I asked her what it meant to her or

how it made her feel, she said:

“One opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment. I feel like it is my

time do this.”

Her response brought happy tears to my eyes. This woman is incredible. One day

(when she is ready), I am sure you will hear her story - where she started out from and

the impressive recovery she is in the process of making right now. It’s truly inspiring.

This woman truly deserves all the joys in life, and I am LOVING watching her “step”

into them. Literally and figuratively speaking, as she is currently working on re-learning

to walk.

Today’s song is about the only time that “losing yourself” sounds like a good plan.

The lyrics:

"You better lose yourself in the music

The moment you own it

You better never let it go"

This song has many great meanings. Focus is always key in whatever you want

to create in life.

One of my coaching clients who I have been working with has been able to turn her

business around, which is quite a task considering the size of her business. It’s global

with locations in several continents. She had been down in a bad place for a while. She

had also been beating herself up. As she authentically stopped beating herself up, her

long time knee pain went away. And her knees are now great! She now goes for runs all

of the time, which is impressive!

My goal when I work with people includes health of course, and also in creating the life

transformation, assisting them to tap into their own power to align with what they are

wanting in life, and also to help them feel great about themselves. One thing we

worked on with her was also seeing herself in a new way: seeing herself with love.

Today’s song is great for that. I actually used this during my recovery also – when I got

to a point where I decided to stop being mad at myself for being injured and being

embarrassed for being incapable of doing much and living on disability. I decided I just

needed to take my focus off of that and start deciding who I wanted to be. The more I

focused on seeing myself healthy and happy, the more “peace of mind” it brought in,

and I truly felt like “I didn’t want to be anything other than me.”

The lyrics:

"I don't want to be anything

Other than what I've been trying to be

lately

All I have to do is think of me and

I have peace of mind"

"I'm tired of looking around rooms

wondering what I gotta do

Or who I'm supposed to be

I don't want to be anything other

than me"

Day 16 Mind Programming Through Music

We all have seen someone be lit up by LOVE and be in love, and I have to say, I LOVE

today’s song.

We’ve probably all heard by now that love is healing, and I would agree, it can be. I do

of course know that typically, there is more needed than only love to heal, but it’s

powerful for lifting your energy and is very important.

To me, this is a song that brings in the feeling of love. It’s deep and it’s also a great

reminder of how much love lights up the world.

As you may or may not know, after my injury/recovery, I started experiencing everything

as energy/frequency very intensely and developed an ability to feel what others feel. I

use this in my work, of course. But one of the other gifts that came with it is this intense

feeling of love, even from little things. Even when someone lets me in in traffic or I let

them into traffic and they wave – and from this tiny gesture, I experience feelings of

love. Or even an exchange of a smile with someone in a store brings this feeling. Which

is so awesome and wonderful, of course. But when it first started happening, it would

make me just laugh at myself (not in a self-critical way, just in a silly fun sort of way). I

really do just love people so much.

Yes, I went through an injury and did a lot of work to get to this point, but if you’re not

injured, you don’t have to be to get there. If I knew then what I know now, I just would

have started feeling love like this for everyone regardless of injury.

So many people work so hard to get

love and it’s great that they get it. We all

need it. To me, I LOVE the FEELING of

love for people even if they don’t even

know who I am – it just feels good! Love

lights up the world!

"Our hearts are like firestones

And when they strike, we feel the love

Sparks will fly, they ignite our bones

And when they strike, we light up

the world"

Day 17 Mind Programming Through Music

I think this song speaks for itself. Today’s song is to me about living each day to

its fullest!

Many people get caught up in the day-to-day life and forget to look at the big picture of

life. During my injury, I would listen to this song to remind me to live my best self every

day!

I could listen to this song and just fall in love with life over and over again.

When we stop and look at our world as it REALLY is… it’s AMAZING. I mentioned in a

previous post the power of the invisible: the wind, electricity, sound waves… and of

course YOUR energy!! Your emotions are like YOUR energy in motion. They are

powerful!

Wishing you a most wonderful day tapping into that power. This song is great

for helping to connect with those “amazing” feelings.

I hope you do too

Day 19 Mind Programming Through Music

Today’s song has such a unique feel to it.

As you know, I used these songs to be

able to connect with different

emotions/energy and to remind myself of

things to stay focused on. Basically to

help support my mind programming. I

used today’s song to help me create a

feeling of excitement towards the future

and what is coming!!!

When I started to get better, this song just made me even more giddy. Lyrics: “I can feel

it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord

And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life”

I had been injured so many years that it felt like I had been waiting for it all of my life..

hah!! The great thing is, after I got better, I just wanted to live life to its fullest and do

everything I could. This song still stayed with me. I loved it. I went skydiving, moved to

LA… and was loving life.

After I got back on my feet financially, I wanted to buy a convertible – I just wanted to

feel the wind in my hair! I was at the dealership, I had just bought my car and I finished

up paperwork with the salesman. Then he walked me out to my new car to show me

how to use the radio and connect my phone, etc. So he turned on the radio, and as

soon as he did, THIS song was on. It all felt like it was coming full circle… and it made

me just love my car even more.

Here’s today's song:Phil Collins – In the Air Tonight. I hope you have something in

your future that you are excited about – it's an incredible feeling. And if not, this song

can help bring that feeling in!

I hope whatever you are up to today you are doing exactly this!!! This song is

incredible for being in the moment and fully taking it in!

Day 21 Mind Programming Through Music

Ok – back on track with powerful songs for the mind!

Now, to be honest, I am not typically a big fan of country music, but when it comes to

listening to songs that have meaning to me, that is key. And today’s song has so many

meanings.

This song was actually released right at the same time I felt like I really got both feet on

the ground after my injury. To be honest, I had a lot of hesitancy in sharing with people

about the power of the mind for self-healing. I was just thinking I could tell my doctors

about what I did, and somehow they would start doing it! Haha! But that was not the

case, which sounds a bit silly now.

Also, I had heard a lot of conspiracy theories. During my injury, while I was looking for

answers, I had read a book called “Natural Cures They Don’t Want You to Know.” There

was not anything actually helpful in the book, but it did do a good job in making me

paranoid, haha. Also, I now had this gift of feeling what other people were feeling and

experiencing energy.

Frankly, at first, it was just weird. It was definitely something I had never thought I

would experience in my life. But now that I had it and was learning to navigate life with

it, I was afraid they would think I was crazy and put me in one of those “special” jackets

that makes you hug yourself.

Instead of taking in fear, I just decided that it was too important not to share, so I

decided to figure out how to overcome it! That marked the beginning of my journey to

find a way that other people could actually SEE the power of the mind work and

eventually led to showing people how to release their own pain under thermography

(so they could see it visually). This song daily became my focus at that time.

Its lyrics:

“I've made my resolution

I've opened up my eyes

Today I'm gonna try and change the world”

But to me, it was more like: “today I decided I am going to try to change the

world” because it was a process of deciding that - ok… I am going to do this.

Another part that was powerful was this: in my own life and in the people that I work

with, I have never (to this day) watched someone lift themselves and have it not inspire

other people. When people are happier and feel better about themselves, they treat

others better and they inspire others!!

26

Page 28: 30 Days: Mind Programming Through Music - Brandy Gillmore€¦ · "Mind Programming through Music" When I work with people to help them shift their health and their lives, there are

One client that I have been working with regarding his fears on having money was

afraid people would not like him if he had money. Now that he shifted that around, he

just bought a brand new car and completely turned around his business. How did

people react? They got inspired. They have been lifting their lives also and several other

people that he knows went out and bought a new car too. He looked back at his fear

and began to realize that his success really did inspire other people. I love this for him!

And that is powerful for everyone. Changing the world doesn’t mean you have to invent

something or change careers – helping to change the world can be as simple as lifting

yourself and being nice to other people. Because THAT helps other people to lift their

energy also. And it would be pretty amazing if everyone just treated each other with

love!

“I'm gonna say hello to my neighbor

Greet him with a smile

Shake the hand of a stranger

Sit and talk for awhile

Tell someone I love them

From the bottom of my heart

Today I'm gonna try and change the world”

Happy Monday!!! Wishing you a most wonderful week where all of your interactions

with people are with smiling people and a happy heart!

Day 22 Mind Programming Through Music

This song is an amazing lift with incredible lyrics. It’s great as a wonderful morning

reminder to “turn your magic on”… And “everything you want’s a dream away.” And the

lead singer leads with his heart, truly impressive.

My truth is that without my injury, I probably would have never actually stepped into the

magic of life. Ever. One of the biggest gifts of my injury is that it literally MADE me have

to follow through. Now, the reality is – it didn’t really make me. I could have given up. But I was willing to do ANYTHING to get better, which meant figuring out HOW to step

into the magic of life and then, actually DOING it! That is what I am most grateful for.

But the reality is, you don’t need to hit rock bottom like I did to do it. Wishing you a day

of living in the magic! ❤

“Turn your magic on, to me she'd say

Everything you want's a dream away

We are legends, every day

That's what she told him

I feel my heart beating

I feel my heart beneath my skin

I feel my heart beating

Oh, you make me feel

Like I'm alive again

Alive again”

Day 23 Mind Programming Through Music

Every day, I am live in awe of how amazing our world is, how amazing God/the universe

is, and how amazing we all really are. Experiencing the world as energy is a humbling

experience – which is part of what today’s song reminds me of.

Also, I work with many people who are afraid to be “too smart”, “too successful”, “too

wealthy” for fear of others' jealousy. This is a song I like to give them as a reminder

that people are not going to dislike you due to success. They dislike successful people

if there is a lot of arrogance or if you treat them poorly or if you feel better than

everyone. That becomes the problem, not jealousy.

So, the reminder of the song is that you can have and be anything you want and

people will not dislike you as long as you treat people well.

As you may know, I am not typically a fan of country, but this song is so beautiful and

has an incredible message.

“When the dreams you're dreamin' come to you

When the work you put in is realized

Let yourself feel the pride but

Always stay humble and kind”

Day 24 Mind Programming Through Music

I love working with people who have been everywhere and have done everything for

years – and still haven’t gotten the results they have wanted. Obviously, it’s not a fun

place to be, and I would rather them not be there at all. But I love it because I help them

open their eyes and see what is possible!

I worked with a new client yesterday who was just that. She had been everywhere, done

everything. Many parts of her story resonated with my own story. She studied

everything she could find and was so determined. I have so much respect and adoration

for people who are determined and don’t give up. Not that I didn’t have moments in my

own life when I wanted to give up and found myself stuck, but of course I was able to

get my focus back. So I loved seeing her determination.

She has been extremely disabled and in pain for about 20+ years (autoimmune illness).

Obviously, my heart was both sad (to hear where she had been) and excited (because I

knew what was about to happen.) She had 4 primary locations of pain with about a

level 8 average. It took around 30-35 minutes to show her how to release all of her pain

to a zero. She was awestruck! Now of course, she has follow-through work to do each

day to maintain it and keep her new mind programming.

But it reminded me of my own life when I started really figuring out what was missing

and what I needed to do to work with my energy. My heart is so happy for her.

It’s that moment when you realize

that you really are powerful and that

your mind and your energy can do

amazing things, and you really figure

out that you can USE it! THAT is one

of those moments when you know life

will never be the same.

Cheers to living in the magic

Day 25 Mind Programming Through Music

A client that I am working with said something to me the other day that really

summed up my personal experience. She said, “I cannot believe I went from wanting

to die to this!” She was referring to the state of euphoria she was in.

What did she do? She started actually following through and doing the work – part of

which was listening to her “happy playlist” every day. Now of course, she did other

things too to turn it around. But the key was that she started following through. She has

become an inspiration to those around her, and the more she follows through, the more

she inspires everyone around her, including her kids.

It’s funny. So many parents spend countless hours worrying about their kids, talking to

their kids, lecturing their kids – and even giving advice to those around them – without

actually doing the work themselves. She is literally inspiring everyone around her by

lifting herself. It’s BEAUTIFUL.

Today’s song reminds me of that feeling of coming from being miserable, stressed and

depressed in life to actually falling in love with life – which at one time would have

sounded impossible to me.

This song is a helpful reminder: you’ve got that power!

If you have not listened this song yet and if you like fast music, I would definitely

recommend listening. The message: I’m alive – I can fly! I have the power.

A classic song, but with an amazing reminder in it. A reminder that creating change isn’t

just about creating a new vision; it's about creating and holding on to the new FEELING.

That was a mistake I had made for several years in my own healing. You hear people

say over and over to picture yourself healed and to visualize it. It’s not just about the

vision. It's about the FEELING.

Which was the gift in it all because it meant I had to FEEL different. That was what led

to developing the mind tools that I did - it was to create real change in the subconscious

mind. And of course, music was my daily reminder and it helped motivate me to keep

going. It was a helpful tool along the way of figuring it all out!

I hope you find this helpful. Happiest Saturday to you!!

This song is great to set the tone of the week.

As I work with people, I see those who start a workshop or video set because they want

to heal their body or transform their lives. And they follow through and they do it!! And

of course, there are those of course who aren’t good at following through.

My goal is always to get everyone to follow through. So on group coaching, I work with

people and help motivate them. What I love is that once they get going and they really

“decide” to follow through, it always amazes them what they themselves are capable

of. Making a decision to do something is POWERFUL.

I love this song for that reason. It’s the decision to be happy: “Can't nothing bring

me down… because I’m happy…”

Today’s song can be a great way to set the tone in your morning and remember

to decide to be happy today! Happiest Monday to you!

Also, as you raise your energy today, it would be kind if you could send some love

to the people of Texas who are affected by the hurricane and the floods.

The lyrics to this song are so on point!

Many times, when people are in negativity

or an old way of thinking and feeling, they

can feel stuck, like there is no way out of it.

It doesn’t mean the negativity consumes

their whole life. Maybe it does, or maybe it’s

just regarding one specific area of life.

This song is wonderful because it’s a

great daily reminder that there is always

another way.

“If you're tired of fighting battles with

yourself If you want to be somebody else

Change your mind”

Hey, hey

Did you ever think there might be another way

To just feel better,

Just feel better about today

If you've had enough

Of all your tryin'

Just give up

The state of mind you're in

If you want to be somebody else,

If you're tired of fighting battles with yourself

If you want to be somebody else

Change your mind”

Day 29 Mind Programming Through Music

Ok… so this song is a bit fun and silly for mind programming – but sometimes that is

exactly what is needed to shift and smile!

As I work with people and see them creating change, sometimes little irritations can

come up – with their family, or boss or the people around them. If something comes up,

just remember not to get sucked in because it can cause a detour or even a setback.

To create change, it requires moving through these things and not getting knocked off

track if they do come up. Many times, if someone is irritated or if something has been bothering them, they can put

on this song, and about halfway through, their smile starts to reappear. It can be a

helpful tool to getting back on track. And a great reminder to just shake off

the negativity and keep going!

And when you listen to the song, the sillier you can be while listening to it, the better.

Sometimes it's about not taking things too seriously and bringing in a lightness to the

situation. That’s what's great about this song. It’s not just a reminder; it has a silliness

to it also.

Today’s song: Shake It Off. Whatever it is, shake it off and stay focused!

Now I am not saying ignore

everything. Rather, shake off the

irritationof it and move through

the things you need to move

through with a different energy.

The general feel of the song is: I

can let other people do their

thing, and I can focus on mine

and not care what others think

Day 30 Mind Programming Through Music

So, we have made it to Day 30!!

I have loved this. I have gotten so many email messages from people who are loving

the songs, and that makes me happy! I love that so many people have been using these

songs to help lift their energy.

Now, of course, the process of shifting your energy takes releasing and other steps

as well. But I love music because it can help lift your energy – and it’s fun!

That is my dream. I feel that one of the reasons why God/the Universe gives me so

much information and the ability to feel energy is because of my integrity with it and my

sincere desire to help others. I do believe that one day, everyone will be in touch with

their energy and have the skill to use their energy to shift their life – and that will be

amazing! That is my dream and that is what excites me about our future.

We have all heard Einstein’s famous quote: “Imagination is everything. It is the preview

of life's coming attractions.” Yet, many people consider “visualization” as something

that is “extra” in life and not important!?

Most people do not take time to visualize each day (at least, not intentionally.) Rather,

most people hold on to negative imaginings (worry) in their mind and then try as hard

as they can physically to not make that happen. And then they wonder why life is so

hard? Hmm… My hope for our world is that everyone will start using their mind to

create better, happier, and healthier lives.

Today’s song is a fun morning workout

song to remember to dream. I love

that it feels like Martin Luther King, Jr.

– because it is also a reminder that

dreams do come true.

Wishing you a happy day!
