A copy 6f the 5-day Follow-Up Report is'also included for reference. After completing a dose assessment, 10 CFR 50.59 safety screening, and System Radiological Evaluation, it was determined that the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) effluent would be within the limits of the Upper Bounding Radioactivity Limit Analysis and would have no adverse impact on any member of the public at or beyond the site boundary. The STP was returned to service and daily monitoring shows that the monitored effluent level at the STP continues to trend down (Analysis sheet and graph attached). Prior to return of the STP, the underground sewage line in the area of the identified leak was secured and is in the process of being rerouted and replaced. The tank releasing the tritiated water, the 2/3 B Condensate Storage Tank (CST), has been emptied and is currently undergoing repairs. Water sampled from monitoring well MD-I l and surrounding shallow and intermediate groundwater wells adjacent to the CST is not water intended for use in the drinking water pathway and was determined to be below the limits for potential drinking water use as described in the Dresden Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) section 12.6.1 Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program Surveillance Requirements. A surrounding network of groundwater monitoring wells is being utilized to track and confirm any aquifer impacts are confined to the site. The Dresden ODCM Part I, Section 3.4.1 details the methodology to be used todetermine the dose to a member of the public who consumes water and fish fromdischarges of radioactive effluents to the river. Since the storm sewers discharge to theUnit I Intake Canal and the Units 2/3 Discharge Canal, which ultimately discharge to theriver, the receiving water flow and pathways analyzed for liquid radioactive waste remainappropriate for this analysis.

Since the start of the event, the highest tritium concentration measured from the stormsewer system has been 7.55E-5 ptCi/ml. A Bounding Annual Dose analysis wascompleted using a concentration of 3.OE-03 jtCi/mL, which was the highest activitymeasured in the CST collected on 06/09/2014 at 1630. A constant storm water dischargerate of 35 gpm was assumed based on a runoff area of 7.20E+05 ft2, a conservativeannual rainfall value of 40.0", and no loss of volume due to evaporation. The calculatedAnnual Dose to Total Body or Organ was determined to be 7.64E-4 mrem which is belowthe limits established to protect the health and safety of the public.

An action has been taken to ensure documentation of all onsite groundwater sampleresults in the Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Report (AREOR) for REMPand the Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report (ARERR) will be submitted in 2015.No additional corrective actions are necessary to reduce the projected annual dose to thepublic to less than the limits in 10 CFR 50 Appendix I. Dresden Station is currentlyreviewing a proposal for site remediation to lower groundwater tritium levels. In theinterim, tritium monitoring will continue to better delineate and monitor the affected areaand ensure protection of the public.

Updated Description of Activities Taken in Response to the Release
