IBRD Loan Guarantee – Payment & Guarantee Mechanism
• In a regular payment scenario, IBRD Guarantee rolls over quarterly to cover
the subsequent 2Q over the contract.
• In a payment default scenario, IBRD Guarantee offers timely liquidity for the
SPV through L/C. IBRD engages with the GoI/NMCG to address the funding
gap issue.
