Call (660) 886-7800 for an appointmentLeimkuehler Insurance and Charlie’s Appliance are both located at450 W. Boyd, Marshall. Charlie Leimkuehler heads up the appliance busi-ness, while his wife, Robyn, manages the insurance. The insurance busi-ness was started in the 1980s by Charlie’s late father, Don and his wife,Judy. Charlie started the appliance business in 1991.
Leimkuehler Insurance, with a total of 2 employees, offers a fullrange of insurance: home, health, auto, farm, crop, life, SR22s, and others.Charlie’s Appliance sells and services stoves, washers, dryers, microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, vacuums, and range hoods. The appliance store em-ployes five men, counting Charlie.
Their “personal touch” makes these businesses stand out. With theLeimkuehlers, the customer is not a number in the system like at a boxstore. They offer a personal experience with clients.
When Charlie was in his early 20s, he saw a need for this line ofproduct and was “needing something to do.” He and Robyn are keeping thetradition, “Our family taking care of your family,” alive with both businesses. He says his biggest success in being in business for over 20 years andbeing the largest appliance sales and service location in the county.
In the future, the Leimkuehlers’ plans include making their busi-nesses grow and expanding their customer base.
