3.2 The terrestrial television antenna system will include the following:

(a) Aerials (both terrestrial TV and FM)

(b) Bandpass filter or preamplifier for terrestrial TV and FM

(c) Amplifiers (plus, if necessary channel translators, converters) and combining units

(d) Power supply units

(e) Equalisers

(f) Trunk, branch, spur feeders, feeders and tap-off units

(g) TV/FM duplex outlet units including isolator for safety

(h) Lead- in connection for the Cable TV services

(i) Channels for SMATV and STAR TV system

(j) Channels for meeting broadcasting system

(k) Interfacing work with the meeting broadcasting system in LegCo Complex so that the information and

data from the meeting broadcasting system can be broadcasted into the BRI system of LegCo Complexand BRI system of CGC office block(s) and low block

(l) Channels for other systems such as security CCTV systems, IT network, etc

3.3 The Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) system will include the following:

(a) SMATV system including dish antenna for the satellites, feedhorn, low noise block converter, satellite

receiver, channel amplifier, filter, RF modulator/combiner, etc

(b) 6.2 metre diameter dish antennae for receiving programmes from following satellites.

Asiasat 2 (100.5E);

Asiasat 3s (105.5E);

BSAT 1A (110.0E); and

Palapa C2 (113.0E)

(c) Antenna support

(d) C-band/Ku-band feedhorns

The switcher of the system shall then be manually turn ON to allow signals from CGC Office Block BRI

system to in-jet into the LegCo BRI system to support the TV services of LegCo Complex.

After the builders work of expansion phase has been completed, the antennas and head-end equipment

shall be re-installed at the new BRI equipment room and new roof of LegCo High Block.

The optical fiber and coaxial backbone shall be extended to re-connect the existing BRI system with the

head-end equipment.

broadcasting system. The technical method for meeting broadcasting system has been reported to user for their further decision and kind consideration.
