Day 3 Dubai - Begin 22 Night NCL “Grand Voyage” Cruise - Departs at 11:00pm

After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure to explore Dubai. Dubai is a contradiction: sparkling skyscrapers, among the highest in the world, and immediately behind the endless and silent desert. Take the time to experience the magic and discover the many sights of this dazzling city, one

of the world’s true capitals of luxury. Why not take the opportunity to book in a full day Desert Bedouin experience (not included). Located on the tip of Oman’s Musandam peninsula, an enclave separated from the rest of the country, Khusab has been described as the “Norway of Arabia.” Its many beautiful fjord-like inlets and stark landscapes created by geologic shifting are striking, and the clear, calm waters are home to dolphins, which can often be spotted interacting with boats.

Discover the charming streets, museums and lively souks of this lovely old city on the Arabian Sea. Those with an interest in architecture will appreciate the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, featuring one of the biggest single-piece-weave rugs in the world. Beyond the city lies the beach of Al Mughsail, featuring blowholes and caves. The landscape is not just desert: a fertile countryside of coconut and banana plantations, mountains and seascapes surround you on the way to Job’s (Nabi Ayoub) Tomb.

Day 12 Aqaba, Jordan 6:00am - 8:00pm

Aqaba’s history dates back to 4,000 BC and was once a key Roman port. With year-round sun, you can enjoy watersports and explore the coral reefs of the Red Sea that teem with brightly coloured fish. However, it is the nearby rose-coloured city of Petra which draws many visitors. Named for the Greek word meaning “rock”, Petra was a flourishing trade centre in ancient times and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Magnificent Petra, an ancient city carved out of stone, and one of the World’s Seven Wonders, is nearby.



Day 13 Safaga, Egypt - Arrives 7:00am - Overnight

Set on the Red Sea, Safaga is a watersport playground. Kitesurfing and windsurfing rule here, but diving is also a top attraction with nearby reefs and wrecks. If sun worship is what you seek, the desert sun and black-sand beach will fast-track your sun tan. Experience the splendor of ancient Egypt on an excursion to Luxor, the Karnak Temple Complex and the 3,400-year-old Colossi of Memnon statues.

Day 15 Suez Canal, Egypt - Arrives 11:00pm - Overnight

Connecting Europe and Asia, this canal through the desert challenged engineers for nearly 4,000 years. Egypt’s pharaohs attempted to connect the Nile River and Red Sea but gave up, as did Napoleon Bonaparte thousands of years later. Begun in 1858, the 120-mile (193 km.) Suez Canal took 11 years to build. Unlike many other canals in the world, the Suez Canal has no locks because the terrain is so flat. The passage from one sea to the other takes only 11 to 16 hours.

Considered one of the Middle East’s most picturesque cities, Haifa offers incredible sights everywhere you turn. It is also close to many holy sites – travel to Galilee, Nazareth or Jerusalem. The views from Bahai Gardens on Mount Carmel, the largest hanging gardens in the world, are incredible, and make for a superb picture spot. Peruse the boutiques on Masada Street or go to the artists’ village of Ein Hod for hand-blown glass and crafts.

Day 24 Naples, Italy 8:00am - 5:00pm

Cruise to Naples, located on Italy’s stunning Amalfi coast, a city rich in history. A tour around Naples’ grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will take you back centuries. Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city which boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets. Explore more of Naples on a European cruise!



Day 25 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy - Arrive at 6:00am - Rome City Tour

Enjoy your last breakfast on-board before disembarking. You will be met by a tour representative and transferred to the city centre for a half day guided tour of Rome - the Eternal City (approx. 3 hours). The tour begins at the iconic Trevi Fountain, immortalised by the famous film ‘La Dolce Vita’, directed by Federico Fellini. The tour will take you to the streets of the old town, visiting famous sites such as the Pantheon; the Palazzo Madama, which houses the Senate of the Italian Republic (entrance not included); and Navona Square, which was built on the ruins of the Domitian Circus.

The remainder of today is yours at leisure to relax or explore. In the late afternoon, be transferred to the Hotel.

TOUR GUIDE VS. TOUR LEADER

Tour Guide:

Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction in which he or she is guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves the group at the end of the tour, they do not travel with the group.

Tour Leader:

An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and if caught doing so, can be fined.

CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES

U.A.E

The best time to visit Dubai is during the cooler months from November to March when you can delight in its tropical desert climate. Dubai has fast become the most popular city in the Middle East. It is on many people’s travel bucket list. The average temperature is 25ºC.

Oman:

March is a great time to visit Oman to enjoy the warm beach weather, away from the scorching summertime. The average temperature is 26ºC at this time of year, reaching highs of 30ºC and lows of 21ºC at night.

Egypt:

March is the best time to visit Egypt for sightseeing if you want to avoid the hot sun. The shoulder months of September, March and April offer pleasant daytime temperatures and are considered ideal months to enjoy the Red Sea for sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling. Scuba diving can be enjoyed year-round.

Israel

March warms slightly to an average daily temperature of 12°C . After a moderate winter, the Israeli capital has an average daily high in March of approximately 16°C in the heat of the day, while the lows in the evening typically drop down to 7°C .

The Mediterranean (Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Italy)

The first sign of spring begins to appear in March, as the average high temperature this month raises three degrees Celsius from February. The average temperature this month is 16°C, while the average low is 9°C, and the average high is 17°C.

COACH TOUR

Meals:

68 meals are included in the tour, for all other meals; lunches and dinners the tour leader (when available) will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. It is your responsibility to notify TripADeal of any dietary requests/requirements. Please note; we will do our best to meet your requests/requirements, however cannot guarantee that we will always be able to.

Luggage:

You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and off-loading of the luggage from the coach.

Gratuities (tips) are not included in the tour price for services of the tour leader (when available) and driver throughout the tour. The recommended tip is €5 per person per day this covers the guide/leader and the driver, which will be collected whilst on tour.

Tipping for all services provided on tour is always a matter of personal discretion, however please be aware that tipping is considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration and they may approach you for payment and there is no need to be intimidated by the request.



Cruise

Gratuities (tips) are not included in the tour price for the services of the cruise staff throughout the cruise component of this tour. Norwegian Cruise Lines is an internationally registered company & operates to US & European standards, both of which have an economy driven by a gratuities culture. Gratuities are expected on your cruise and will be charged to your onboard account at 15 USD per person per day. If you have any questions in regards to the gratuities on your cruise please speak to the guest services staff onboard the ship.

Sightseeing:

VISAS

Land

United Arab Emirates:

Australian passport holders are eligible for a free 30-day visitor visa-on-arrival.

Europe:

A tourist visa is not required for Europe

for stays up to 90 days if travelling on an Australian passport.

Cruise

Egypt:

A tourist visa is not required for Egypt if entering and exiting via cruise ship.

Jordan:

A tourist visa is not required for Jordan if entering and exiting via cruise ship.

Israel:

A tourist visa is not required for Israel if entering and exiting via cruise ship.

Oman:

A tourist visa is not required for Oman if entering and exiting via cruise ship.

Please note: Passengers who are not Australian citizens must check with the respective consulate or visa agency to determine what their visa requirements are and what personal identification is required. It is also important to note, some areas of employment such as journalism, government authorities and charity organisations may have additional restrictions in applying for Visas. This may in turn affect the type of application required.

SCHEDULE OF FEES

Voluntary Changes

This includes booking changes requested by you, including but not limited to those changes requiring an airline ticket or a Purchase Confirmation reissue.

· 1st Change - $100.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

· 2nd Change - $150.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/

other travel provider.

· Subsequent changes - $250.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

· Changes within 30 days of departure $350.00 person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

· Changes within 14 days of departure $500.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

Name Changes Due To Passenger Error

· If the incorrect name has been advised to TripADeal, charges of $150.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.
