    And what is your point? Don't you think that similar parallel

    can be

    drawn between any of IE languages and Sanskrit?

    What I'm trying to say is that there might be a different story behind

    the true age of Serbian and Slavic for that matter. It could be way

    older than historians give it credit. Maybe that is why there is such

    similarity with Sanskrit compared to another IE language, especially

    one of the Eurpoean languages. Have you heard of a historian called

    Jovan I. Deretic Dont confuse him with the linguist Jovan Deretic (no

    middle name)? Research him

    None of the IE languages could be taken as the "oldest" or "older"

    one. All the IE tongues are equally old.I know Deretic personally; he is an excellent historian.

    There is always a precursor of any language. All IE languages derive

    prom an older language. Sanskrit is one of the precursors of IE

    languages and if you accept the theory behind Deretic's works than we

    can say that Serbian is actually the root to IE languages and most

    possibly Sanskrit....look at this Serbian/Sanskrit similarity;

    i found this from an excerpt from one of the Vedic philosophies

    "nivrttataraair upagiyamanad; bhavauaadhac chrotramanobhiramat; ka

    uttamaalokagunanuvadat; puman viraeta vina paaughnat"

    so:

    "Nevraanje tra~i osmialjeno seanje; koje biva uaima kroz oveka

    odabrano; ka tamnoj lokvi nagoni vode oveka; roenog na paai

    ugnjetavanja".

    This is a word for word translation which gives us the same meaning in

    both texts. Doubt that you will find such striking similarity in any

    IE language.

    also;

    "yadrechaya nandagrhe sad antakam; balam praticchannanioruteesam;

    dadaraa talpe agnim ivahitam bhasi"

    so;

    "jedrea nada ide sad takvima; nevine pratei, ona nije tamo gde samja; dodirnuvai stopala ognjem, evo hitam bos!"

    Here are some of words all taken from the Sridam Bogovatam from Vedas

    vaiaesike viaeslika

    akaaah okuaa

    pratina prati znanje

    samanyam sumnjom
