Green containers are cleared by our staff on predetermined days; blue containers are hired out for companies internal use only. FEATURES The ‘wheelie - bin’ has proved to be a smart alternative to bags, because it has two wheels and a handlebar, making it easier to manoeuvre. Manufactured in one piece by an injection moulded process, it eliminates any cracks or joins where bacteria would collect and breed and makes it easy to clean. It can be adapted to accommodate a padlock. A hinged lid facilitates hygienic, odourless storage of refuse, helping to keep bin areas free of flies. Clients who regularly dispose of kitchen waste are recommended to use bin liners. Liners ensure higher standards of hygiene and cleanliness and when full, the only requirement of a customer is that the opposite corners are tied together and knotted to avoid any spillage during the clearing process. Liners are supplied (in packs of 10) for an extra charge. 240 LITRE WHEELED REFUSE CONTAINERS Containers are manufactured from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) plastic - a very strong and durable material, and supplied to DSW usually in an environmentally friendly, ageless green. It is important to note though that as the containers are plastic and designed for compactable waste only, they are definitely not suitable for hot ash, builders rubble, sand, liquid and glass.
