Adoration"The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this Sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go meet Him in Adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our Adoration never cease." Catechism of the Catholic Church Paragraph 1380.

What to do in Adoration?1. Pray the Psalms or the Liturgy of the Hours. Whether you are praising, giving thanks, asking for forgiveness or seeking an answer, you'll find an appropriate psalm. The ancient prayer of the Church, called the Liturgy of the Hours, presents an excellent way to pray through the book of Psalms throughout the year. 2. Recite the "Jesus Prayer." Say "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner," repeatedly as you quiet your heart and mind.

St. Anthony Women’s Ministry News

Our ministry meets every third Wednesday of the month from September until May in the Faith Formation Center with the exception of March and April 2020. In those months, we work on our palm orders at St. Anthony’s Church.

Our Ministry’s greatest accomplishment is our Honor A Student Award Program. Each year we honor 3 graduating seniors from our parish with awards not because of their grades or achievements in sports but because they live their lives as Christians giving of their time helping others. That is the purpose of the Palm Fundraiser.

Additionally, we lend ourselves to other ministries as well as parish events. We have always been available to our parish to serve in many capacities. Moreover, we are a fellowship of wonderful, amazing women who support each other through prayer and fellowship.

Please consider attending a meeting. Maybe you will try us on for size. We need you. Our ladies are getting older I am sorry to report. Allow us to continue to serve our parish in future years.

God Bless You,St. Anthony Women’s Ministry
