CATEGORIES:The contestants compete in each of the following categories: 1. BEAUTY LINE UP: 0-11 months girls, 12-23 months girls, 0-35 months boys, and 2-3 years girls: Eachcontestant will wear a black t-shirt with a bright orange citrus logo. Each contestant will pick up the t-shirt atPageant Check-In. Each contestant will provide and wear any black bottom: black jeans, pants, shorts, skirt,skort, capris, leggings. The contestants may wear any color socks (for babies), flat, sneaker or sandal.The Beauty Line-up allows the judges to see your child close-up. Beauty Line-up replaces the interview.No questions will be asked and parents are allowed to escort the child into the Beauty Line-up.The allocated time per contestant is 30 seconds.

Hello Citrus Contestants, Friends, and Family Members,

I am excited that you will be a part of the 25th ALL NEW NATURAL National Citrus Pageant and ModelSearch. This year, we have decided to become a Natural Pageant. For those who have participated in thepast, the only changes are with the younger age divisions (0-11 months, 12-12 months, 2-3 years, 4-6 years,and 7-9 years.) The older divisions (ages 10-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-49 years,50 years-up) will remain the same. All changes are explained in this booklet.

Like the Old Hawaiian Tropic Pageant use to be, we will have 2 Beauty Specialists backstage to swab faces toensure there is no make-up or hair extensions on all 0-11 months, 12-23 months, 2-3 years, 4-6 years, and 7-9 years contestants.We will award a King or Queen in each of the 16 Age Divisions. The King or Queen in each of the 16 AgeDivisions will be determined by 3 Categories: Beauty Line-up/Interview, Citrus Wear, and Formal Attire. Wewill also award 2 OVERALL Titles in the entire Pageant. There will be one OVERALL Title in the 0-6 years andone OVERALL Title in the 7 years and up age divisions. The 2 OVERALL Titles will be the highest combinedscore of Beauty Line-up/Interview, Citrus Wear, and Formal Attire combined with the 8 OptionalCompetitions: Prettiest/Handsome Face, Prettiest/Most Handsome Eyes, Hair, Smile, Most Photogenic,Best Dressed, Best Composite and Best Portfolio. For the overall Citrus titles, we drop the two lowest optionalcompetition scores. We add the remaining six optional competitions to determine the overall titles.

INTERVIEW: 3-6 years boys, 4-6 years girls, 7-9 years girls, 7-12 years boys, 10-12 years girls,13-15 years girls, 13-19 years boys, 16-19 years girls, 20-29 years girls, 20 years and up men,30-49 years women, and 50 years and up women: Each contestant will wear a black t-shirt with the brightorange citrus logo. Each contestant will pick up t-shirt at Pageant Check-In. Each contestant will provide andwear a black bottom: black jeans, pants, shorts, skirt, skort, capris, or leggings. The contestant may wearany color shoe, sandal, sneaker, wedge, or heel. Each contestant will state his/her name, hobbies, and/ or goals and will be asked 2-3 questions from the judges. The allocated time per contestant is 45 seconds.

2. CITRUS WEAR: All age divisions compete in Citrus Wear. In the Citrus Wear Competition, each contestant must wear blue jeans of any color and length and a citrus colored top. The top must be canary yellow, lime green, and/or bright orange. Tops may be embellished with rhinestones or any bead work. All styles, fabrics, lengths are allowed. Modeling is up to 60 seconds. There will be 4 X’s on the stage and each contestant hits each X, modeling may include any moves, step/turns, and/or circle turns. Parents will carry babies. If he/she can walk, allow him or her to do so. Have fun! Judges look for smiles, composure, stage presence, and a beautiful face! No props of any kind. Upbeat music will be provided.

3. FORMAL ATTIRE: All age divisions compete in Formal Attire. The formal attire for girls (ages 0-11 months,12-23 months, 2-3 years) must be Sunday Best or Holiday Dress. No Pageant Dresses or Cupcake Dressesare allowed. Rhinestones are not allowed on Sunday Best or Holiday Dress. Sequins are allowed. Girls ages4-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-49 years, 50 years youngand beyond must wear a long dress to the floor. High/Low Dresses are allowed, these are dresses that areshort in the front, but long in the back. The dresses may have an embellishment, rhinestones, sequins, or illusion.These are dresses just like you see at all Natural Pageants, Miss USA, or Miss Teen USA.Formal Attire for the boys should be a suit, tuxedo, or pants/dress shirt, any color/style is allowed.Formal Attire Modeling Routine must be 60 seconds or less. There will be 4 X’s on stage and eachcontestant will hit each X. At 60 seconds, the music will stop and the contestant will exit the stage.

OPTIONAL CATEGORIES: All Optional Categories are $25.00 each. You may pay in advance or at Pageant Check-In. Enter all 8 Optional Categories to be eligible for one of the Citrus Overall Titles.We will award a King or Queen, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up in each Age Division, in each optional category.These categories are available - but not mandatory to all contestants and are separate from the Age Division Titles.Two runner-ups and one winner will be announced in each age division in each optional event. These events will bejudged during Formal Attire. The photographs, portfolio and composites will be scored separately - you simply bringany size picture to Pageant Check-In. Black/white, or color pictures are permitted. Please bring your compositeand portfolio to Pageant Check-in if you will be entering these Optional Categories. All pictures, composites, andportfolios will be returned to you on Sunday January 31, 2021 before the Crowning/Awards Ceremony. If you are competing for one of the overall titles, (0-6 years or 7 years and up), you will need to register for all of theOptional Categories; however, the 2 lowest scores will be dropped. For the 2 Overall Titles, we add theBeauty/Line-up/Interview, Citrus Wear, Formal Attire, and the 6 highest Optional Categories. Entering theOptional Categories is a chance for your contestant to win additional national titles!

Most Beautiful- Judged on facial beauty during formal attire Best Hair- Judged on the hairstyle during formal attire. Best Dressed- Judged on the actual formal attire, not the performance of the contestant. Best Eyes- Judged on eyes during formal attire. Best Smile- Judged on the sincerity and brightness of the smile during formal attire. Most Photogenic- Judged on the photo you submit. Just take into consideration beauty of face, clarity, and overall impression of the image.Best Composite- Judged on the composite you submit. A composite is 3 or 4 pictures of the contestant printed on one page, please include name, contestant statistics are optional (height, eye color, sizes)Best Portfolio- Judged on the portfolio you submit. A portfolio is a collection of 8 photographs in a notebook. Pictures may be black/white, color, full body, body shots, selfies, etc. Dare to show range and versatility of the contestant.Additional photogenic entries, composites, and portfolios are $10 .00 each. 2.

ENTRY FEE: The National Entry Fee to compete at the 2021 National Citrus Pageant is $395.00. If you placed/won in a Citrus or Perfect Preliminary Pageant/Model Search, you have won a free entry fee! If you won a free entry (a $395.00 value), every contestant is responsible for the Registration Fee of $250.00.Included in the $250.00 Registration Fee is the Citrus Interview T-shirt, 2 Admission Tickets (one adult ticket for Saturday and Sunday), a picture in the Citrus Program Book, a copy of the Citrus Program Book, and a Citrus Tote Bag. MODELING PATTERNWhether this is your first event or you or your child

have participated before, it is a simple pattern.Each contestant enters the stage on the 1st X sideand stops on the 1st X and then moves on to 2nd,

3rd, and 4th (the 4th X is the same as the 2nd)and then end at the 5th X. Each contestant will exit the stage on the 5th X side.

At each X, the contestant may do astep turn or circle. Feel free to

add your personality, smile,style, and modeling

2021 Forever In Blue Jeans

•Location: Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort, 12205 South Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando, FL 32836•Schedule: Check-In for the Blue Jeans is available from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Show begins at 2:00 p.m.Immediately after show we will announce all awards and winners.

This is an Optional Competition. Forever in Blue Jeans is completely separate from the National Citrus Pageantand Model Search. Open to everyone (guys and girls/all ages, whether or not you are competing at the

National Citrus Pageant and Model Search.

•Clothing Requirements: Each contestant must have on at least one piece of denim. The denim can be any color and style. There are no other restrictions or requirements. Be creative, have fun in America’s favoritefabric..... DENIM! The music provided will be fun and upbeat.

Citrus Talent Competition is open to everyone (girls/guys) and is completelyseparate from the National Citrus Pageant and Model Search.

• Date: Friday, January 29, 2021 5:00 p.m.• Schedule: Check in for the Citrus Talent Competition is anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021. You may also check in at the same time for the Citrus Pageant and Model Search. The Talent Competition will begin at 5:00 p.m. We will announce winners immediately after all talents have been performed.• Location: Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort, 12205 South Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando, FL 32836• The Citrus Talent Competition includes all genres of talent including, but not limited to, singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, performing monologue, modeling, comedy routine, gymnastics, cheerleading, and the list goes on. You may also check in at the same time for the Citrus Pageant and Model Search. The Talent Competition will begin at 5:00 p.m. We will announce winners immediately after all talents have been performed.• Location: Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort, 12205 South Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando, FL 32836• The Citrus Talent Competition includes all genres of talent including, but not limited to, singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, performing monologue, modeling, comedy routine, gymnastics, cheerleading, and the list goes on.
