Classic Houseware operates in the quality Houseware

product market sector in which consumers look to

purchase quality branded houseware products. The

company only distributes brands that have an

international presence, and the company has exclusive

distribution rights in South Africa. Through this process

of distributing quality International products, the

consumer buying a product distributed by Classic

Houseware, will enjoy an above average usage

experience.

The company was formed in 2018 as a new venture in

order to bring newness in design and product to the

local market.

Management of Classic Houseware has in excess of 25

years’ experience in the industry and has enabled

numerous international brands to have a leading

position in the South African market.

The re-launch of Moulinex small electrical appliances in

the South African market fits in with this vision and will

allow the company to bring iconic, well styled quality

and functional products to the market.

Moulinex is a brand owned by the largest small appliance distributor internationally, Groupe SEB. For more than 80 years, Moulinex has been dedicated to making kitchen appliances available to all, for the pleasure of cooking in total freedom.In 1932 Parisian craftsman Jean Mantelet invents the vegetable mill, a very simple appliance for turning cooked vegetables into a perfectly smooth mash or puree.In 1956, the Moulinex name is registered. and is an abbreviation of Moulin Express, an electric coffee mill. Moulinex widens its area of expertise to cover coffee, baby, salt, pepper and graters, as well as the famous MoulinetteIn 1961 Moulinex launches a series of food processors that quickly revolutionize everyday home cooking.In the 1970’s Moulinex launches the iconic Genuine blender as well as electric coffee makers, first domestic microwave ovens and mini ovens are brought to the market.In the 1980’s emphasis is placed on the breakfast category and coffee machines become programmable. Moulinex is all the rage at breakfast tables across the world.Through beautiful designs, user-friendliness and technical innovation, the Moulinex range of household appliances become a part of daily life, and part of the kitchen décor in the 1990’s.In 2001 Groupe SEB acquires the Moulinex Group and a period of consolidation and new vision is implemented in Moulinex. As part of the takeover the EU applies a moratorium on development on the brand. After 2010 Groupe SEB applied it’s vast R&D resources to modernising and revamping the Moulinex range of products.

Guarantee Policy

1, All MOULINEX items carry a 1 year warranty for factory failure.

2, All items have an exchange warranty for 7 days from date of

purchase for out of box failure. Product to be tested by Classic

Houseware sales agent, if no problem is found, the claim will be

rejected.

3, All items with a cost of R500 or less have an exchange warranty for

6 months from date of purchase subject to:

* Any customer abuse negates the under warranty exchange.

* All under warranty exchanges must be accompanied by original

purchase invoice.

* Classic Houseware sales agent to be advised when exchange is

made.

* Reason for exchange and person who tested the item in store to be

attached to the product.

* Classic Houseware agent will test every product claimed and if there

is no damage, the claim will be rejected.

* After the initial 6 month period all returns will be subject to a repair

warrantee.

4, All other items have a 1 year repair warranty for factory fault.

Products to be repaired at approved service centre.

5, Any product that an under warranty repair is claimed, must have

the original purchase invoice attached to the repair paperwork.

6, All repairs for products out of warranty will be chargeable.
